Amara nodded her head, yes, but she wasn't. What was wrong with her? "I'm going to take her to our room. Can you tell the others that we'll meet them for dinner if she's feeling up to it?"
Jimin pouted a bit, but he listened to what Hyung asked. Yoongi led her back to their dorm. She wasn't talking at all. She was going through the motions without realizing she was doing anything. When they got to his room, he pulled her into his arms. "Amara, what's going on?"
"I don't know how to explain it, Yoongi. I feel broken, but I don't feel broken when I'm with one of you; right now, with you holding me, I feel whole, but when you leave, I break. And it's so dumb, I shouldn't be like this. I will scare you guys off if I don't stop."
She was crying so hard. Yoongi picked her up, and she wrapped her arms and legs around him. She squeezed him so tightly that he could feel her tears on his neck. He rubbed his hand up and down her back; it seemed to calm her. Jungkook was correct when he called her a koala bear earlier. It looks like Joonie isn't the only one in their group. 
She must have fallen asleep; her tears stopped, and her breathing was even. Yoongi laid them down on the bed. It took some maneuvering to get her unwrapped from him, but he did it. She was still on top of him and holding onto him for dear life. Hobi walked in a few hours later, "Hey, how is she?"
After Yoongi told him what she had said earlier and how she was acting, he read his medical book. "Hyung, I think she has Marasmus. It's more common in younger children, but it makes sense if you think about her home life." Hobi started listing symptoms, and she'd had almost every single one of them.
"Why didn't we notice this before now?"
Hobi set his book down, "It's our fault. She was used to not being touched unless it was negative. Then we show up and start holding her, kissing her. She was so touch-deprived that she started seeking it out. Think about how she clings to us; once she was done fighting, she latched on and never let go first."
"You were right; you said if we weren't careful, we'd break her. We did," Jimin slid down the wall until he sat down. He placed his elbows on his knees and fisted his hair. He was so pissed at himself because he knew something was going on when she cried in his arms, begging him not to stop. 
They broke her. If they had just left her alone, she'd been fine. He looked up at his Hyungs, "she would have been fine if we would have left her alone. I should never have teased her. I saw her on the train on the first day of school and wanted her so badly. If I had left her alone, she'd be fine now going about her life." Jimin started crying; he was so pissed at himself.
Hobi walked over to his little brother. "Jiminah, we are all to blame. Even if you had left her alone, I doubt highly that the rest of us would have. We all wanted her; it wasn't just you."
"What can we do to help her?"
Hobi looked at her with a serious face, "I've done some research. There isn't a lot we can do besides what we are doing. Touch her as much as possible. The thing I'm worried about is when she's alone in class. I think that's why she fainted and not because of the food. Jimin told me that she had to sit by herself in DADA and that she didn't feel well after."
Jimin was reading Hobi's book. "I think this would help." They both looked at him. "We need to put a spell on her jacket. Make it weigh more, a lot more. It's a wearable weighted blanket. It says here that it can help if they are alone."
Hobi's eyes went wide, "Jimin, that's actually a great idea." He turned to look at Yoongi, "Take care of her; we'll see you at dinner." And they were off to figure out how to make her clothes weigh more. 
He was surprised the others hadn't come in yet, but he would enjoy having her to himself for as long as he could. He felt her start to stir, "Hey Angel, are you awake?" She nodded her head but didn't say anything. Yoongi rolled them over so he could look at her. "We think we figured out what's going on with you."
