R Y A NI'M EXHAUSTED FROM being out all day shopping with my sister and Sophie, but thankfully I bought enough outfits and shoes suitable for me to be working at Greyson Designs. Not to mention the trip to Victoria Secret. I managed to buy some very nice and sexy matching sets Sophie made me buy under Tori's nose, but when she saw the bag she gave me a knowing smile and a wink.
"It was nice spending the day with Sophie, finally able to get to know her a little better," Tori smiles as she drives me home. We just dropped Sophie off at her house and I couldn't agree more with Tori, she was so nervous to be around my sister, but I knew she would love her.
"She was so scared about today."
"Why?"
"C'mon... you telling me you wasn't petrified the first time you met Mrs G as Noah's girlfriend?" I say raising my brow at her.
"I guess we already knew each other a while and didn't really think much of it," she shrugs, looking at the road in front of her and quite frankly, I see her point.
We've known Judy since we've moved here, not only as our neighbour or as the mother of the Greyson boys next door, but also as our mum's best friend since moving here. She's practically family so I understand her not being as nervous, but it still must of be nerve wreaking to meet Judy as Noah's girlfriend and not just the girl from next door.
"Well... just imagine if we didn't know her, you would of been sick to your stomach, right?"
Tori's lips perk up, the corner of her lips curving into a smile and I see her eyes flicker with a memory. "You know... the first time I met Jack's mum I threw up everything I ate that day in the park round the corner. We had to stop off at a petrol station and pick up some mouthwash," she says, giggling with the memory.
"God... I was so worried she'd hate me because I was younger than Jack and not to mention pregnant but..." I see her shake her head, not in a disappointing way, but almost like I see her relive a favourite memory of hers. "I'll never forget what she said to me, "thank you for keeping him straight and out of trouble. I'm a lucky woman to have my son with such a wonderful girl like you," of course the hormones made me cry like a baby, but I realised I had nothing to worry about. Even now when I call Sarah, even though Jack's not here, we still have an amazing friendship thousands of miles away.""See? You was nervous as hell with his mum so it's natural for Sophie to feel that way."
"I know, but you tell her she's got nothing to worry about. I love Sophie and she's always been a great friend to you. I know she's perfect for Jackson and I'm happy for the both of them, I'm just glad they stopped fighting their feelings for each other."
"Tell me about it," I giggle.
We pull up to the front of the house and both get out, moving to the back of the car to get my bags out the boot. Tori rounds the car too, helping me grab everything that's mine. "Thanks."
"Come have dinner with us next week? All three of you, Noah can cook and we can actually spend some real time together?" She asks hopefully and I smile, thinking about us all together, having dinner as couples.
"That's sounds great," I say and grab her for a hug, she kisses my cheek, squeezing me tightly a little, almost like she's reassuring me. I'm glad that Tori knows about me and the Greyson brother's, but I know she's close with mum and I'm worried she'll tell her before I have a chance to even figure out my relationship with them. I pull back from her, standing up straight. I need her to not say anything, to let me be the one to tell both mum and dad myself. "Listen Tori, about dad and especially mum-"
