Third Person Perspective
younghoon and the rogue watchers had left again and had besn gone for a while. they had gotten word that rogues were coming back into the territory and that they were planning an attack so to protect the pack, they left immediately. now chanhee sat on the couch, mind adrift and hand on his small baby bumb. "luna" a maid said frantically as she ran in to the living room. "yes?" he asked calmly. "they're back" she said. chanhee instantly stood up and walked outside, wondering why he hadn't heard a howl or got the musky scent of his mate.
he stepped outside and saw the wolves walking slowly, most limping. they turned back to human form, falling to their hands and knees. "get them all aid. NOW!" he shouted. "luna, i'm sorry. he got separated and we don't know where he is" one alpha said. chanhee stood frozen, fear invading his mind. "what border were you by?" be asked. "south. we think the southern pack was helping them but we can't be sure. but we all could've sworn that their alpha was there, fighting with alpha younghoon." the alpha mentioned. "very well. please go get some rest." he said with a smile, the alpha nodded and walked along with the other alphas.
"luna" a group of alphas and betas came rushing to him. "we'll help you find him" they said. "i can't put you guys at risk" chanhee said. "luna, our alpha is out there. the risk this pack faces without him here is greater than the risk we'll put ourselves through" a beta said. chanhee considered all outcomes, most of them being bad. "get his father." chanhee ordered. one of the betas ran off to get the past alpha, both of them returning within minutes. "mr kim" chanhee said. "yes, luna?" the alpha asked.
chanhee brought the alpha away from the group a bit. "what do i do? younghoon is lost and they want to go on a rescue mission to find him. i don't want to put them at risk if rogues are still an issue and the possibility of them having no training. especially with the weighing factor that the south pack alpha might have attacked him." he said. the man looked at him with a smile. "you lead" he said. "luna, i wish not to pressure you. but you're a male luna, you have stronger abilities and powers than you'd think. you have to embrace the powers the moon goddess gave you" he said.
chanhee looked back towards the woods before back at the group. "get ready, we leave in five minutes. understood?" he asked, the group nodded and chanhee looked back at the alpha. "what risk do i put my child at if i go out there?" he asked, hand on his belly. "the moon goddess will protect your pup. if you go out there to find your mate, she will make sure the baby and you make it back" the alpha said. chanhee nodded and walked to the house. he went to the bedroom, changing out of the clothes that he was wearing and put on more loose and comfortable clothing for being able to shift. he took off the eyepatch and walked down the stairs.
maids gasped as they saw the luna without the eyepatch. "maintain the house. the past luna and alpha will be in charge. i expect one of you to relay that message to them" he ordered. they bowed and nodded. he walked out and felt a nervousness spike through him as he saw the group rushing back. they stood in silence with wide eyes as they saw the luna's eye. "l-luna. your eye" one said. "is there a problem?" chanhee asked. "no, it's quite beautiful" he said. chanhee seemed surprised by it but shook it off. "we are headed towards the southern border. we will not get close enough for them to smell us. understood? in the chance we meet rogues, our job is not to fight them but to get away." chanhee said.
"luna, not to alarm you, but you're an omega male. they'll be attracted towards you especially since you're the luna. won't they go after you?" a beta asked. "yes. and what does every wolf recognize first about an omega? if they're pregnant. even rogues know not to attack an omega that is pregnant" chanhee said. they nodded and stood behind him as they shifted. his gorgeous white female wolf showed elegant grace that made pack members halt. the luna's eye glowed a blue color, proving the powers of the moon goddess. they started running, the luna guiding them towards the boundary.
when in the middle of the boundary between the center of the pack and the southern border, they got the feeling of being surrounded and watched. stay strong, wolves. chanhee said to the wolves behind him that had started to come up on his sides to protect him. and within a matter of seconds, they all halted as they saw a large gray wolf standing in their way. he slowly turned human, chanhee following after. one beta stood in front of the omega so the rogue couldn't see his body. "what brings you out here, omega?" he taunted. "i think you need your senses checked" chanhee said.
the rogue smiffed again. "the luna. my my, i would've never guessed the pussy of the pack to be out here. where's your alpha?" the rogue taunted. "why are you in our territory?" chanhee asked. "i asked a question first! answer it!" he shouted. "you have no authority in this pack or any pack and therefore i do not have to listen to you, no matter what your rank is. why are you in our territory?" chanhee asked again. he seemed at a loss for an answer. "if you have no response then leave. you have no business being in this territory, causing mayhem and trouble to our pack" chanhee said, pushing on the wolf in front of him so he could turn. the rogue followed, turning into a wolf again. this time, he backed away with a cowering head hung low.
luna, he noticed you're pregnant. a wolf behind him said. and just like that, the rogue was gone and the group went searching again. it didn't take long for chanhee to pick up the faint scent of his alpha, his body naturally going towards it, the rest of the wolves following. they all saw younghoon laying on the ground under a tree, bloody and unconscious. chanhee shifted and ran towards him, falling to his knees as he landed next to younghoon.
he saw the large slash marks on younghoon's stomach, moving his body so he was laying on that area, nice and gently so he wouldn't hurt younghoon. "alpha, please wake up. you've been gone for quite some time now" he whispered softly, brushing the dark hair out of his alphas face. he felt the surrounding of rogues again. his eye glowed blue again, the wolves around him back away a bit so that the luna could have space. "alpha" he said calmly, his luna voice showing itself.
he glanced back at the rogues that surrounded him, all of them freezing and bowing as they saw the blue glow from chanhee. younghoon struggled to open his eyes, having to adjust to the light that seemed so foreign to him. he saw the rogues surrounding him, his wolf wanting to attack again.
but he noticed they were bowing. then he saw his luna. chanhee came to find him. and chanhee was making the rogues bow? chanhee looked around, not having noticed that younghoon was awake now. younghoon gasped in shock seeing his luna without the patch and with the glowing blue eye. chanhee heard the sound and looked down, the blue glow fading and showing its normal white coloration and a smile adorning chanhee's face. "younghoonie hyung, you're awake!" he said happily, hugging the older male tightly.
"your eye" younghoon said. "what about it? i'm sorry you weren't there when i revealed it to the pack" chanhee apologized. younghoon shook his head and smiled widely. "it was blue"
