We've been walking for a while when Felix stops and says:
F: "Can we guys take a break? So we rest, eat, look at what the heck is in these backpacks and maybe work out a plan to free Mingi and the others"
CH: "Yeah, he's right, let's stop there that I see a clearing protected by trees" ALL: "Ok"
We follow Chan to the clearing, sit down and start looking in the backpacks. Each has weapons and supplies, each different for each category. There are also clothes, first aid kits and automatic tents. Since it is now evening, we decide to set up the tents and eat something.
To avoid leaving traces we do not light a fire, but we use heating lanterns that were together with the tents. After a little discussion we go to sleep each in his own tent.
-the next morning-
F: "WAKE UP LAZY ASSES! BREAKFAST IS READY!" yells Felix from outside
Me and Minho groan but then we exit our tent and sit with the others. While we're eating, we discuss about the plan:
JG: "We have to work out a plan"
ME: "Yeah, we can't get there by chance and hope to be able to free everyone by luck" CB: "You're right. Anyone have any ideas?" CH: "I maybe. Since I found a map in my backpack that illustrates where the Aeolian headquarter is, I thought we would get as close as possible by staying hidden by the trees and then since I also have a video that shows the inside of the building we can think together with Seungmin and Hyunjin some strategy to get in, kill everyone, save the other demons and get home safe and sound" MH: "Not bad, not bad" HJ: "It's all good, I think we all agree with this right?" F: "Yeah of course" SM: "Now what about these strategies?" JG: "I actually don't know what to do" F: "How about thinking about it when we're there?" MH: "Yeah, Felix is right. Let's go guys"
We all get up, take our backpacks, clear the camp and, following Chan and Jeongin, head towards the headquarter of our enemies. After I don't know how long we have been walking someone starts complaining of leg pain. It hurts me all over the place too, shit. Minho must have noticed because he asks us to stop for a moment to rest. We all agree and we sit a little scattered in a grassy clearing.
MH: "Are you ok?" ME: "Yeah, my legs just hurt a little" MH: "Don't lie, I saw you were struggling"
ME: "Ok, fine. it's just that all of this is so exhausting, I don't know if I'll make it" MH: "Jisung, look at me"
I look at him and he cups my cheeks with his hands
MH: "You are one of the strongest people I have ever known, sure you will, we are all here together on purpose. Trust me, we'll break the Aeolian asses and save the other kidnapped demons, okay?" ME: "Ok, I trust you, but you have to promise me that you will not die, because if you die, I will kill you" I say looking at him a little angry MH: "Ok baby, I promise" he says giggling and kissing quickly my pouting lips
I smile and kiss him again, holding on to him as if my life depended on him.
CB: "Hey you two, we're leaving"
ME: "We're coming!"
We start walking again in the endless forest and I lose track of the hours until the trees run out in front of us and a gray building appears to our eyes. We look at each other, we nod and thanks to Seungmin who forces the lock we are able to enter. It's huge inside, if it weren't for Chan's video we'd already be lost. We follow him to a room of gigantic proportions where on the opposite wall we see all the demons kidnapped inside a cage. We run towards them and see Mingi coming up and yelling at us:
MG: "GUYS! WHATCH OUT! IT'S A TRAP!"
Not even time to metabolize what Mingi said we are surrounded by eight creatures covered in cloaks. We all huddle together and take out our weapons. Creatures also bring out theirs.
