Chapter 37 - Fixing Things Through

                                    

                                          
3rd Person's POV:
                          
"Shadow" felt himself a bit happy, his heart being at ease for telling something that's been bothering him.
                          
"Zeus" knowing that lian knows and understands the pain they had gone through and being open to him made it comfortable for him in opening conversation with the male he adores most. 
                          
"Blizzard" realizing that lian now is happy with how he treats the said male made himself hope even more that he has a chance in being lian's lover. 
                          
As lian went back inside the school premises, he heard several footsteps coming at his direction. 
                          
Looking at wherever the sound is coming from, he saw the students now leaving early than usual, it seems that all the class had been dismissed. 
                          
Lian didn't look at them or even think to check on them as he didn't know how to make them comfortable, he was hoping he'll find any time for them, but at the moment, he needs to talk to one last person before taking care of others. 
                          
Lian: Here it is, I'm positive he'll be here. 
                          
Lian stood at the door of the gym in which he knows max will be at the moment. 
                          
Placing an ear against the door, he heard aggressive grunting and clacking of metals. 
                          
Lian: Just as I thought. 
                          
Lian proceeded to enter the gym, placing a hand on the door know and pushing it slowly, he quickly saw max whose lifting heavy dumbbells with both hands. 
                          
Heavy panting and sweat covering his entire body, lian felt himself heat up and blushing. 
                          
Max on the other hand heard the small creek from the door and turned his eye to the mirror in which he quickly saw lian. 
                          
Lian kept on standing just behind the door waiting for max to finish before talking to him. 
                          
He averted his gaze towards the sweating beastmale so lian wasn't really sure if he's done or not. 
                          
Max let out a chuckle at the sight before him. 
                          
Max: Do you need something lian? 
                          
Lian: Uhm, can we talk max? 
                          
Max: Sure, and don't even bother covering your eyes lian, we're both male. 
                          
Lian did as he was told, staring at max's eyes, the beastmale gave the blushing mess of a male a wink and flexed his muscles at him. 
                          
Max: What do you want to talk about? 
                          
Lian: I want to talk about the cross-battle that's going to be held at the C-H-A, are you okay with that? 
                          
Silence filled the room. 
                          
Lian: It's okay if you don't want to talk about it though! 
                          
Max: No, I'm fine with it, please have a seat here. 
                          
Lian: Okay. 
                          
Once lian was seated, max took the towel that's hanging from one of the nearby chair and wiped himself with it. 
                          
Lian couldn't stop staring at the huge and handsome looking male but there's an important topic that must be given light to so he snapped out of it quickly. 
                          
Lian: Are you coming? 
                          
Max: I am not yet sure, I've been thinking about that just a few hours ago and I think I'll just have to decline their offer, I don't care what anyone thinks... 
                          
Lian: But what about your reputation. 
                          
Max: My reputation doesn't matter now, besides no one in this school know about that so It won't harm me, it won't harm anybody. 
                          
Lian: Can you at least tell me why you don't want to accept it? 
                          
Max was getting frustrated at lian at this point. 
                          
Max: Please lian I don't want to say it. 
                          
Lian: Please just say it to me! 
                          
Max: Even if I tell you it won't make a difference. 
                          
Lian: But I deserve to know it max! I am a member of the colossals remember! 
                          
Max was now angry at lian, he really was doing his best in being calm but now he's fully annoyed. 
                          
Max: Fine, you really want to know why huh?! It's because of that hellish incident I lost the girl who I onced loved!! 
                          
Lian saw the anger in max's eyes. 
                          
Max: I never want to talk about that ever again so please stop bugging me about that! 
                          
Max took his things and left the gym leaving lian frightened about max's reaction. 
                          
Lian kept a solid smile after that, even thought what he did was painful... He'll still smile. 
                          
Lian: Okay then. 
                          
His voice cracked for a bit there. 
                          
Lian: Don't talk to him about that, got it! 
                          
Lian said to himself as he too left the gym...
                          
"3 out of 4 I guess..."
