"That movie was fucking amazing." Michael's eyes widened as he escorted me through the exit door.

In all honesty, I watched Michael more than the movie. The way his eyes would light up every time a gunshot was fired or the way he laughed when a funnier line was spoken. He didn't even realize how lovely he could be by just being himself.

Michael walked in front of me as he guided me to the car. I couldn't help but notice that we looked more like friends than a couple. He stood a good one foot away from me scrolling through his phone.

He was definitely not one for public displays of affection and maybe that was because we just barley started to see one another. I don't know.

I was sure to do the cheesy gesture of leaving my hand open, palm up in case he wanted to hold it but he barley even looked at me.

"Sorry, I was just texting Luke." Michael finally turned around as we got to his car. I ignored his comment as I climbed into the passenger seat.

"He order pizza and wanted to know if we wanted to come over." Michael stated rather questioning me.

"Okay, sure." I spoke back.

I checked my phone and saw a missed call from Grace which I quickly returned.

"Kit? When will you be home? I hope you know it's a school night." She spoke in a slightly urgent tone.

"Uh, I'm going to dinner with Michael. I shouldn't be home too late. I thought my curfew was nine?" I asked.

"Yes, we haven't discussed curfew in a while. You usually don't stay out late. It's fine. Please call if you need anything." She said.

"Okay."

"Bye." She hung up.

"I don't think one of your moms likes me very much." Michael said peering at me from the side as he started up the car.

"Grace? I don't know. She's more..strict than Carmel. I wouldn't worry. She's probably just intimidated by your hair or piercings." I laughed suddenly forgetting my upset emotions towards Michael.

"At least she hasn't seen my tattoos." He smiled and then quickly dropped it.

"You have other tattoos?" I questioned. I have never seen Michael without a sweater or coat on. It's fall, November, almost winter. He hasn't worn short sleeves.

"Yeah. I'll show you some time." he said driving away from the parking lot.

As we stood outside Luke's door, I looked up at Michael.

"Don't tell me Calum is going to be here." I rolled my eyes at the thought of him taunting me the entire way through.

"No. He's studying for science or some shit." Michael said just as Luke opened the door.

"Hola." Luke smiled and spoke as he spotted me behind Michael.

"Gross, it's Hemmings." Michael said giving his friend a pat on the back.

"You can come inside you know?" Ashton popped out from what was the bathroom I assume.

"Yeah, Michael. Don't leave your friend outside." Luke said. My smile dropped at the word friend.

"Oh right uh-" I swore Michael would say something about the actual status of out relationship but instead he walked his way over to the three boxes of pizza.

"I don't normally have other people besides the three guys here. Mind the mess." Luke said biting his lip. A light blush came to his cheek. I couldn't help but notice his stare..I forgot that he thought I was "cute" according to my "boyfriend".
