Thing are getting real boi!!!!
[Silver's POV]
I spotted them. Way to go Melog, un-cloaking when far enough. Catra looked back for a brief second. I was quiet but fast, I transitioned from leaping through the trees to running alongside them a while ago and Melog's speed made me gag for a second. They're fast but not fast enough hehe. I got speed turns out. It could just be the urgency anyway.
Melog made a grunt and skid to a stop causing Catra to fly forward.
"Ow! What's wrong with you?!" She scolded.
We have to go back.
"Stop it! Stop it!"
"I told you, I'm not going back." Catra spat out and Melog growled.
Fine we'll do this the hard way.
Melog moved forward and laid on top of Catra. The magicat complaining and grunting, trying to get away from the heavy cat.
"You saw what happened! Adora chose Shadow Weaver, okay? Not me! A-Adora doesn't want me! Not like I want her." Catra spilled out her frustrations, tears beading in her eyes.
That's because you love her... Catra thought it was Melog who mewled but it wasn't.
Melog moved to lick her face caringly, lifting off her slightly.
She leaned up and hugged them, letting out a breath.
Footsteps were approaching nearby. Melog immediately cloaked Catra and hid from the clone that walked past. He was wearing a hood and seemed to be sneaking around or something. Catra and Melog's aura shifted as they took off and followed the clone. I groaned internally and followed them.
I followed her behind a rock. There was this huge spire that looked like it was drilling into the planet, clones lining the perimeter and first One's writing on the ground.
The clone groaned and let down his hood, turning back at us with white pupils, I hid my entire self and kept still. Stripes at least have to come in handy for camouflage right?
"My brothers. The time has come at last. No longer shall She-ra stand in my way. The Heart shall be laid bare, it's power mine for the taking." Prime possessed the clone.
All the other clones standing around at attention started chanting.
"Cast out the shadows. Bring the universe to Prime's light." Over and Over again.
"Begin the acquisition process." He announced and pressed a button. The machine whirred to life, shaking the ground. The clone pressed another button as the entire thing turned green. It started spinning. It really was drilling. But it jammed itself down and within moments our surroundings were glowing green. All the first one's writing and patterns infected with some sort of virus.
"Adora. We have to warn Adora!" Catra told Melog and hopped onto his back. I nodded my head frantically in fear to no one in particular and ran next to them in the shadows.
When we arrived back at the hide out, everyone was gone.
"Adora! Silver!" Catra called. I skid to a stop behind her.
"I'm here." She swiveled around and hugged me tightly.
"She's not here." Shadow Weaver answered, intoxicated by the wine she had in her hand.
"What do you mean she's not here? Where is she?" Catra turned to her and asked.
"She's gone to the Heart of Etheria to free the magic and become the hero she was born to be. If you are still so selfish as to try and stop--" Catra moved in front of me and stood up to Shadow Weaver, grabbing her collar.
