3rd Person's POV:
Footsteps can be heard as the four beastmen and lian progressed on with their mission.
Upon entering the next room, it was filled with pillars that are heavily damaged, the other ones were holding the place, keeping the area from being destroyed.
On the ground, the five of them can see cracks, with just a strong vibration or anything that disturbs the area, it can take the whole place down.
Lian began to think that something was wrong with the information they all got.
Lian: This seems more like a ruin than a hideout...
Zeus: Wait aren't hideouts and ruins the same?
Lian: Well, I guess, but there's something oddly familiar about how this place was built.
Zeus: Hm?
Lian squinted thinking as hard as he can in trying to recall where he last saw the design of the pillar.
Then realization hit him soon.
Lian: Looks like the investigation was completely wrong.
Max: Huh?
Lian: Max, do you remember the ruin in fursenburg?
Max: Yeah...
Max's eyes widened.
Max: Oh that's right! That's why the ruin looks sort of familiar to me.
Lian: I think there's something else that I need to take care of.
Max: Don't you think there's another one here?
Blizzard: What are you two talking about?
Zeus: Care to share?
Lian: It's a long story, and not even worth explaining, let's just continue.
As lian took a few steps the crack on the ground got larger until it slowly collapsed.
Max: Lian watch out!
Lian was too late to even react as the ground got fully destroyed.
Shadow tried to grab lian but he too as well fell down.
Zeus: Shadow!!
Blizzard: Max! What're we gonna do?!
Blizzard turned his head to max.
Max: Looks like jumping down won't help... It'll probably make lian mad too, let's find another route, we'll meet with them later.
Blizzard: What?! Are you kidding me?! Lian and shadow might be in danger right now!
Max: Blizzard, lian is strong, and so is shadow, don't tell me you're underestimating them...
Blizzard: I-
Max: Look, talking here isn't going to help us, let's just continue forward...
With max's last word, all of them proceeded on the next room.
Lian's POV:
I was falling down into a dark abyss, i couldn't tell if I'm almost close in landing.
I couldn't see anything.
I closed my eyes and hoped that my senses would help me in guessing until I felt an arm wrap on my waist.
Opening my eyes, I saw shadow, the markings in his body glowing brightly.
He soon landed on two of his feet, with his arm still wrapped to me.
He then slowly let me go.
