The trio visited several more shops that day, although they had fun it cost them the great sacrifice of their wallets
                          
Before they knew it the sun was beginning to set and they knew it was time for the day to be over
                          
"i should get home, so i'll see you tomorrow then haruchii!!" sawamura yelled, he waved as he ran without looking back
                          
haruichi nodded "yeah i'll see you"
                          
"what's tomorrow?" furuya asked
                          
"eijun-kun's helping me with a job, he's just tagging along because he's bored" haruichi said
                          
furuya hummed "i see, do you mind if i also tag along?" he asked
                          
"are you sure?" haruichi asked
                          
the raven haired male nodded "you can keep the rewards, i'm also pretty bored"


                          
The brunette arrived at his apartment, he was ready to take a nice warm bath to end the day!
                          
As sawamura reached in his pockets for his apartment keys a splitting headache followed by blurry vision washed over him, he could hear his heartbeat like thunder in his ears
                          
what was happening?
                          
images crossed his mind, there was fire everywhere.
                          
A large fire covering an entire area.
                          
but that wasn't the worst part, next he saw miyuki standing there with a look of horror and grief
                          
expressions he never thought he would see on miyuki's face.
                          
were these visions? this doesn't make any sense at all.
                          
no he must be imagining things right? no way they would be beaten!
                          
shaking his head he chose to forget of those images, it must be his imagination
                          
later that night, he slept peacefully in his bed
                          
he assisted haruichi with his job with no problems at all, although he was suprised when furuya also tagged along he didn't really mind.
                          
sawamura eventually forgot about it, it was definetely just his imagination
                          
the following day the team hasn't come back yet, it is to be expected but he's getting a bad feeling about all this
                          
he decided to stop by the guild today, cooking is a bit of a hassle so he decided to just get some food at the guild hall
                          
before he could enter he could hear loud noises from inside, it's sounded chaotic
                          
when sawamura opened the door he stood face to face with the commotion, frantic members were gathered along the infirmary room.
                          
giving in to his own curiosity he decided to take a look, he could barely see through the crowd of people but he managed to snatch a glimpse inside 
                          
his eyes widened, the sight of Chris being restrained to the bed thrashing in pain as he gritted his teeth to avoid screaming, rei is in there with him trying some spells to try snd relieve chris from his pain but to no avail
                          
"what happened?" he asked somebody near him
                          
the random guy responded "we don't know, everything was normal but suddenly chris collapsed and then this" he said "his curse is probably getting worse"
                          
sawamura swallowed a heavy gulp, if the curse is geting worse then the chance of Chris going back to his old self and the team won't be back until another week or so
                          
the thrashing stopped, chris laid in bed breathing slowly
                          
rei sighed, she was breathing heavily from all the spells she chanted
                          
she then carefully inspected chris who was now unconscious, her eyebrows furrowed then she placed her hand on chris' forehead
                          
"Someone get heating packs now!!" she yelled "His temperature's dropping!!"
                          
why was he just standing there? he has an ability damn it
                          
sawamura pushed through the crowd, immediately rushing to chris' side 
                          
Gosh he hopes this would work, he gathered heat into his palms then pressed on the other male's chest
                          
rei was right, his heartbeat was slowing down.
                          
he has to do this just right, not too hot.
                          
he took a deep breath...
                          
then released a shockwave of heat into chris' body, hoping he released enough to supply the body with enough heat but not enough to fry the guy from the inside
                          
"sawamura-kun, i wasn't aware you could do healing" rei said as she looked at chris' color come back
                          
"it's not really healing, it's how i was trained to use my ability, i use it all the time to transfer heat to another object" sawamura said "i've never tried it on an actual person though"
                          
Rei looked at him like he was a freak of nature, atleast everything worked out though
                          
later that night sawamura woke up to loud banging on his door, he slowly got up from his bed rubbing his eyes
                          
on the other side of the door was rei who looked frantic
                          
"takashi-" "No time! come with me!" she grabbed his wrist and before sawamura knew it he was back in the guild's infirmary
                          
sawamura was confused at first but then he focused on the pale face of chris
                          
"he's beginning to freeze again" rei said
                          
he already knew what to do, once again sawamura transferred heat into chris' body
                          
"he started to freeze again?" sawamura asked
                          
rei nodded "if the team doesn't return on time it might be too late" she said "and i know your ability is pretty limited as well"
                          
sawamura can't deny that
                          
"has the team sent any updates?" he asked
                          
rei shook her head "the guild master is out on a seminar but i have sent him a report on what's happening" she said "as for the team, the most recent update was yesterday morning, they said they will now start the hunt"
                          
"it's taking too long..." sawamura trailed off "i hope they come back soon"






                          
they waited for another two days...
