Amara

I got out of the car, seeing Malik, Jermaine, Damien, Khalisè and Kiara already out of their cars.

As I walked up to them, I was greeted by Kiara and Khalisè.

"Hey babes, are you alright?" Khalisè asked as Kiara rubbed my back.

"Yeah." I nodded before I hugged both Jermaine and Malik.

Everybody began walking around the church, walking to the graveyard silently.

Malik squeezed Khalisè's hand that he didn't know he was holding. Khalisè rubbed his back, telling him everything is gonna be okay. He nodded his head, looking at King who smiled sympathetically, patting his back. Malik nodded again, sighing.

"I can't do this." Jermaine whispered as he held Kiara's and Damien's hand, slightly closing his eyes. His breathing slightly speeded up, making Kiara worry.

"Hey, hey, hey. Look." Kiara stopped in front of him, making her look down at her. "Everything is okay, alright?"

"Yeah, dad, I'm here for you." Damien smiled, hugging his father's leg. Obviously he didn't know what was going on, but he knew that he wanted to be there whenever his dad was feeling sad.

Jermaine smiled lightly, picking his son up as he kissed his forehead and wrapped his arm around Kiara.

Amara bit her bottle lip nervously, walking in between Nia and Vinchi. She began shaking her head as she stopped walking.

"Amara?" Nia whispered, putting her hand on her shoulder.

"Listen." Vinchi said, grabbing her hand. "Look around you, mamas. We all here for you. Everything is gonna be fine, alright?"

She looked to Nia for reassurance. Nia nodded her head slightly, rubbing up and down her best friend's arm. Amara nodded before started to walk again.

Everybody stood beside each other as they looked over the graveyard, but the Andrews siblings looked at a specific spot. The area in the middle of the right side.

"It's now or never." They all thought.

"I'll be back." Amara said, walking in front of everybody. Malik grabbed her hand before she got too far away.

"You sure you gonna be straight?" He asked.

"Yeah, cause we can come with you if you want us to." Jermaine said, walking up a little bit but she stopped him.

"No, I'm okay."

She continued to walk up to her parents graves, sighing as she stuck her hands in her pockets.

She let out a shaky breath, not knowing what to say.

"Hey." She chuckled, rubbing her arm. "I know it's been a minute since I've been here, 5 years actually. I'm sorry." She said as everything went quiet.

"I- I'm 17 now. I look like you, dad, even tho Malik and Jermaine say I look like mom." She chuckled again.

"Whew, I don't know what to say." She said, fiddling with her fingers. "I never thought that I would be in this position that I'm in. I always thought that you'd be here with us, forever, but I guess not." She stared as tears came to her eyes.

"I know I haven't been doing what I should be doing. Dad, you'd probably knock our heads off if you found out that we followed in your footsteps." She lightly smiled, knowing that her dad probably would have killed all of them.
