"Hi," Wanda said simply as Allie pulled her into the apartment and checked both directions in the hall before closing the door behind them.

"Where the hell have you been? What the hell happened? How the hell did you even find me?" Allie asked in quick succession, relief that Wanda was okay flooding over her but irritation over the pardon condition being broken still settled in her chest.

"I've been traveling," Wanda replied with a small shrug.

"Is that what you call you it?" Allie grinned.

Walking into the kitchen, Allie decided to quickly make food for herself and Wanda. She watched as Wanda tugged at the cuffs of her sleeves. Eyes flicked down to her belly and she grinned.

"I see you've been busy," Wanda smirked, Allie simply happy to hear the Sokovian accent again.

"You could say that," Allie laughed.

"How far along are you?" Wanda asked as she walked up to help Allie in the kitchen.

"I'm about to be seven months," Allie smiled. "I'm always out of breath now."

"Do you know what you're having?"

"A boy," Allie smiled. "Eighty years ago I'd been praying for the end of the war so that this could happen. Now it's finally happening."

Wanda smiled at her as they each took a plate of food and walked to the kitchen table, sitting across from each other. Allie was relieved to see that at the very least, Wanda still looked healthy.

"So," Allie sighed as she took a bite of food. "Are you going to talk to me about what actually happened?"

"What do you mean?" Wanda feigned innocence.

"Cut the shit," Allie's voice was sharp and blunt. "I know about Westview."

"I see," Wanda said as she swallowed a bite of breakfast. "Well, if you already know, what more can I say?"

"You can tell me your side," Allie said. "I've heard about every side but yours."

Wanda narrowed her eyes slightly as she seemingly weighed Allie's words. Sighing, she looked down and grabbed her napkin, wiping her hands. She looked back up to Allie and took a deep breath before beginning her explanation of her side.

Allie listened intently as Wanda spoke. She realized that Wanda wasn't hiding anything from her as she heard her story from beginning to end. It seemed that there had been more to her story than anyone else had known. She was right in believing that Wanda had never meant to hurt anyone.

"I went to Westview as soon as I was told about it," Allie admitted. "I talked to the residents and heard their stories. It took a moment, but I finally found a woman who was willing to at least tell me something of what happened."

"Why would you go there?" Wanda asked in shock.

"Because you're one of best friends," Allie shrugged. "You had only just met me when I arrived on the Compound grounds and became my first friend there. Outside of my brother, of course. I had to make sure that you were okay."

"Well, I am," Wanda nodded.

"Besides," Allie continued as she took another bite of her food. "When have I ever sat still?"

"As long as I've known you? Never," Wanda laughed.

"Exactly. It's not in my nature," Allie laughed in return.

The two finished their breakfast before pushing their plates aside. Wanda brought her hands up to sit on the table in front of her as Allie watched her cautiously. Narrowing her eyes ever so slightly, Allie watched as Wanda seemed to weigh a question in her mind.
