chapter 43: 5 years after

                                    

                                          
A lot has happened. Y/N and Taehyung knew that there will be changes, ups and downs to their relationship. They knew that time has come.
                          
Now, Taehyung sits down to one of the comfiest sofa he had ever seated his whole life. Waiting for some staff and for the talk show host to start the interview.
                          
There walks in Red Velvet's Seulgi in her show Seulgizip. When they were told already to start the interview, both of them smiled at the camera.
                          
"Good Morning! My name is Kang Seulgi from Red Velvet. Now we have a very special guest. He's one of the vocals, visuals and lead dancers of the group BTS. Let's welcome, Kim Taehyung!!"
                          
"Hello! Thanks for inviting me, Seulgi."
                          
(let's do it this way smh)
                          
S: So Taehyung, how are you?
                          
V: I'm happy right now. How about you?
                          
S: I'm doing alright but let's not talk about me. Let's talk about you so how are with thr group now?
                          
V: We're doing great! We're actually lucky that we have the opportunity to write and produce our own songs and with the promotions done, we're having a free time.
                          
S: Who do you spend your free time with? Is it with the boys or Y/N
                          
The crowd then started to cheer and get giddy after hearing Y/N's name. Taehyung felt the same giddy and chuckles.
                          
V: Both. 
                          
S: I am also delighted that I met her 5 years back. It's been two years since you made an announcement through your own YouTube channel that you and Y/N have been dating for a while now. Do you mind sharing your love story?
                          
V: It will be a long ride but here we go:
                          
"When we just finished debuting, I saw this movie that she's in as a supporting actress. I was never into western movies and series but because of her, I watched all of them.
                          
Years have passed and my liking, love and support from her has grown so much. I bought all of her dvds, collaborations, posters and even watched all of her Instagram live that she used to do. You can call me a fanboy because I am really one of her fanboys, even until today.
                          
*Audience laugh at Taehyung's expressions are so cute to notice.*
                          
I really thought there is no chance on meeting her until came 5 years ago when her movie, Serah of the Mafia, invited us to be a part of the music video. Meeting her back then, she literally took my breath away. 
                          
*Taehyung pauses to remember how refreshing everything was back then.*
                          
I was never supposed to be a part of that music video but thank goodness I had the opportunity. I never felt so alive back then. I was able to hold my longtime celebrity crush and seeing her so close to me that it hurts my heart yet it feels good.
                          
Believe it or not, I was a potato around her. Really shy. Yet since she doesn't know yet that time I was crushing on her, she did her best to push me out of my shell, then my confidence around her grew, I confessed.
                          
*Seulgi smiles at the story being told, she has never seen Kim Taehyung, this passionate to tell something personal to her audience.*
                          
After the confession, we have to go back here in South Korea, and I thought I'm never gonna see her again. The months after that were dreadful as we were both busy back then.
                          
Then the unexpected came, she became mine on Christmas Day that year.
                          
*Audience went "Aawww" after hearing this.*
                          
Y/N has kept her head high and has protected me and I really really felt bad yet thankful of her. I felt bad that when rumours of us arised, she's the one receiving the hate and even got hurt of it. Thankful that she never left.
                          
That's one of our challenges aside from the busy schedule. Right now, Y/N has taken her interest intos something else so we have now lots of time together especially now that..."
                          
*Then Taehyung shows a polaroid picture of them together, a latest Christmas in Norway with Y/N showing her hands with a ring on her left ring finger.*
                          
*The audience and even Seulgi herself is so surprised of what Taehyung has shown.*
                          
S: OMG so did you just made a big announcement?! In my very own talk show?! 
                          
*Taehyung is still smiling at the audience and to Seulgi who's starts tearing because of joy. (A/N: YUP)*
                          
V: Yes, we got engaged already and about the wedding. Can't disclose anything, I'm sorry.
                          
S: Did you just propose to her so other idols wont try their luck? 
                          
*Seulgi and Taehyung laughs with the audience.*
                          
V: Not just the other idols, also the international celebrity world. I remember back then that I almost got upset hearing other idols complimenting her so I put a ring on it.
                          
*This just made Seulgi and the audience laugh and Taehyung looks so serious about it.*
                          
S: So, is Y/N going to live here in South Korea now or you have other plans?
                          
V: I can't tell you that but Y/N started taking Korean language lessons already every weekends. 
                          
S: That's so sweet, especially if you're a foreigner.
                          
V: She's really sweet.
                          
S: So you're the very first BTS member to have his own YouTube and Instagram profile, right? You did this also after announing your relationship 2 years back. How's the feeling?
                          
V: My co members and Bang PD are already aware of it. I did that not just showcasing my love for art and photography, also for them to know how much I love and adore Y/N.

The interview ended. Y/N smiles happily and looks at her engagement ring that Taehyung has given her. 
                          
It's true that their relationship was rocky and full of danger, now it has been reciprocated with stability, healthy and a secured lastung relationship she never had.
                          
She remembers when Taehyung formally announced their relationship through his YouTube and Instagram. Starting then, he keeps on posting most pictures of them together. 
                          
The positive feedback lighten everything up especially coming to their friends and other idols cheering up on them. There are still negative feedback and both of them didn't mind it much.
                          
Y/N and Joji remained as friends and she's grateful that he also saved her despite her relationship with Taehyung. Joji and Taehyung remained civil. After the incident, Joji told Taehyung that most of the songs in Nectar album is for Y/N that he has written for years. Taehyung was fine with it since everything is okay now and it will be a waste to start over producing songs and he knows the feeling.
                          
Her manager, Macy, retired from the job at when she became 50. She kept on nagging Y/N to bear children already before she dies. Y/N is really thankful for her manager, too. She has done a good job of taking care of her, especially since Y/N's family disown her at the start of her career, Macy became her mom and family.
                          
Niki has become one of the greatest female singer right now and is on the highlight ever since. After the Shawn Mendes scandal, Niki and Namjoon dated however, due to personal differences and very busy schedule as singers, songwriters, producers and composers of songs, they decided to call it quits and remained friends. Y/N still knows they're still into each other especially when Namjoon's Trivia: Love was released after Niki's Lose. 
                          
Life has become greater and Y/N feels the best.
