Cas saw me shiver from the slight breeze and wrapped his arms around me tightly. It made me smile as my head rested on his shoulder. We're comfortably sitting on the beach, watching the sunset. We found out not too long ago that I'm dying and there isn't much time left or anything we can do. So he's determined to make the best of the time he has left with me.

The beach is a place I've always wanted to go but never been. He made that dream come true by taking me before I'm gone. The ocean is absolutely gorgeous at night as the moon reflects off the water. Spending my final moments here with him makes this all the better. It's odd how one day your life could be so perfect then the next have it ripped away from you.

We tried not to dwell on the bad so much. We're all about the here and now and the good that life has to offer. "That star is so bright and beautiful up there," Cas spoke, breaking the silence. "Reminds me of you."

That made my heart happy and a smile appear on my face. He always knows the right thing to say to make me feel things I've never felt before. Sam and Dean, two men who have been by my side since we were kids, already said their goodbyes. Now I'm spending this time with Cas, the most amazing boyfriend a girl could ask for.

"I'm gonna miss you. I'm gonna miss this." I admitted to him.

"Don't worry baby, your heaven is going to be beautiful and I'll visit as much as I can." He assured me. He always assumed I'd go to heaven and never gave the possibility of hell a thought. I'm no perfect human being but surely Chuck doesn't want me up there. I don't really know, which is why this time is so much more precious.

"I love you so much Cas," I let out, almost brokenly.

"I love you too, y/n. You know that if there was something I could I'd do it? Right?" He asked as if I thought this was all his fault. I pulled away slightly to look him in the eyes. His darkened blue eyes staring right back into mine.

"You have to make me a promise...promise that you won't under any circumstances, won't blame yourself for my death. This is not your fault and I know that you tried everything you possibly could." I held my pinky up in the air. He laughed knowing that I'm the type of girl who still does pinky promises.

In my opinion once you do it your locked in for life. There is no going back from a pinky promise. He gave me a warm smile and wrapped his pinky around mine. "I promise." He whispered. I nodded and grinned at him. He couldn't help himself as he leaned in close, kissing my lips softly, as if I'm made of glass.

It surprised him when I deepened the kiss and he smirked against my lips before pulling away. "My y/n," he sighed while tucking a piece of hair behind my ear. "What am I gonna do without you?" He asked more to himself than to me.

"Surely you'll survive." I teased and he only slightly smiled.

"Not without you in my arms everyday." He stated. I sighed sadly and wrapped my arms around him. We held each other close for a while as we stared at the waves crashing into the shore. This has become my new favorite place on earth. Heaven on earth if you will.

There's a sudden feeling that hit me out of nowhere, causing my heart to start beating rapidly in my chest. Cas took notice of this and panic set in. "Cas I-" is all I'm able to get out before everything fell dark around me.

Cas Pov

Her body went limp in my arms causing worry to fill my bones. I tried everything to wake her up but nothing. "No! You can't die now, please. Y/n don't leave me...I'm not ready to lose you." I cried out. She just wouldn't come to and I knew it was her time even if I'm not ready for it. She is the only human girl I've ever had feelings like this for.

My eyes watered with tears but I shoved them back and tried to stay strong. Even though on the inside I'm completely broken. It feels like someone ripped my heart out of my chest, killing me right there. Seeing her like that breaks my heart, every single piece of my heart. She doesn't deserve this and she sure as hell doesn't deserve to die so young.

Gathering up whatever energy I've got left, I went back to the bunker. That's where Sam and Dean are waiting for the awful news of their best friend, sister, that has died. I'll get to visit her in heaven but they won't so I'm sure they will take this a lot harder than I am. Although she is my girlfriend and no one, not even them, can stand to feel the pain that's inside my chest right now.

Once getting there I made my way inside and watched them stare at me anxiously. I looked at both the brothers, in the eyes and shook my head in complete sadness. "Cas," Sam whispered brokenly.

"Please," Dean begged.

I sucked in a sharp breath before looking down at the ground as if in shame.

"She's gone."
