Kyra was banking on Lucian getting to her soon. She had no chance of taking Jupiter on without full control of her aura if she couldn't use her pokémon.

"I take it you're not going to change your mind no matter how much persuasion you get. Just remember that Skuntank is a Poison Type, I won't target you yet since Cyrus still values you, but I won't hesitate to poison you if it'll leave you weak enough to get you on our side," Jupiter said, her niceties now long gone.

Kyra knew that she didn't have any more life lines, Jupiter was no longer someone who Kyra could go against. She had to stall her one way or another, but how? If only she could control her aura enough not to pass out unexpectedly. Was it worth taking such  a high stake risk?

All she needed to do was take Skuntank and Jupiter by surprise and get back to Lucian and their partners. Then everything would be fine.

Jupiter latched onto Kyra planning something, her heightened concentration was a clear giveaway of that. "What are you planning? There's no getting away from this unless you join us Kyra," she asked, curious as to what Kyra could possibly be planning.

Kyra felt her aura was strong enough to form a small attack, it wouldn't be much, but it would be enough to buy her some time.

As Kyra let out a wave of aura directed towards Skuntank, Kyra felt a pang of guilt at hurting her, but it was either that or join Team Galactic. What she hadn't expected however was that Jupiter would had been hit by the wave as well.

"Why you little...you'll pay for that. Skuntank, use Toxic on her now!" Jupiter snapped, holding her arm where Kyra's wave had hit her.

Kyra backed herself into a corner, she had no way out. But the Toxic she had expected to hit her never found its original target.

"Not you. You Elite Four always have painful timing," Jupiter sighed, her chances of getting Kyra on Team Galactic's side were quickly diminishing by the second.

Kyra saw that Lucian was now stood protectively in front of her, Espeon snarling at Jupiter and Skuntank whilst Lucario and Eevee went to their trainer to make sure she was ok.

"I won't let you put Kyra in danger. I knew all along you were up to no good, pity for you that your Grunts were incapable of stopping us," Lucian replied, making sure that Skuntank had no way of harming Kyra.

Jupiter was surprised to see Lucian was still standing after a full force hit from Skuntank's Toxic, she knew that wouldn't remain that way for long though. "Take my Skuntank on and we'll go from there. I don't expect you to last for long. Skuntank, use Night Slash on Epseon," she called, battling Lucian in the hope of an easy win.

Lucian knew he was on a time limit that was quickly decreasing, he had an antidote to Toxic's poison, but he wouldn't be able to get it until Skuntank was defeated. "Now Espeon, dodge that and use Shadow Ball," he called in reply, hoping that Espeon's power would be enough.

Espeon did as his trainer asked and avoided the Night Slash at the last second, charging a powerful Shadow Ball and sending it towards his target. But it wasn't enough.

Kyra could already feel the weakness as a result of using her aura setting in. Her legs were struggling to hold up her weight and the next thing she knew was Lucario supporting her to stay standing. "Thanks Lucario," she thanked weakly, resting her head on her partners shoulder so she wasn't at risk of injuring herself.

"Perfect, I was wondering who would collapse first. It's not the ideal situation, but one I am happy to deal with. Use Flamethrower on Lucario," Jupiter said, taking advantage of Lucario not being able to defend herself.
