Several days have passed.  Today my little cousin and her wife graduate from highschool.  Her mom is feeling better so far so good. We all arrive at at stadium. Between these two we have taken three rows of seats and the others stood up.

Madre with Stephanie adding Leon to her name means her name will be called sooner.
We can see their caps.

We are proud of them. Stephanie made it and was valedictorian. They both are graduating with honors.  They received permission to sit together with ther fellow graduates.

Mija was up to say her speech.
As we are here to move forward, we get to reflect on our four years here meeting new friends, maintaining existing friendships and having our teachers challenge us to prepare us for college,  work force, military and for some several model careers.  I want want thank my parents and brother for pushing me to  be me and excel.  Most people don't have their mothers study with them, but I enjoyed the special time I  had with my mother.  Many of you teased me but that was okay because she helped me be a better student and helped me become the valedictorian. I feel like she earned my high school diploma with me. Mom please come up here to receive your cap and gown too. Yes, mom. This is not only my day but all of ours who continues to support us all.
Go mija. Madre this is embarrassing.  Get. Si Madre.
Mom we don't have all day now.
My dad helped my mother who was feel the effects a little today.  My dad helped me the gown and cap on my mother.  The principal said a few words.
Mrs. Robles earned her diploma as well.  When she was younger she missed alot because she didn't care about school.  Stephanie found out why her mother enjoyed studying with her. Her mother took tests on line. The board of regents have allowed us to give her diploma along with you fellow graduates.  Mrs. Robles any words of encouragement.
Yes, thank you for allowing me to graduate with my daughter and keeping this a secret until this week. I  wasn't expecting expecting though. It is never too late to earn your high school diploma.
I hugged my parents and my mother stood until we were all received our diplomas. My mother didn't throw her cap like many of us did.
We took many photos and left for my parents home.
Angela you should of told me. I would of added your name to the cake. Izzy I am just happy to finally graduate.

We arrived at the Robles home.  This was also a celebration for our wedding. This was more special to my wife and I now because my mother in law graduated with us.
My mom spoke first.
Mija and mijo as you know I despised school even boarding school wasn't for me. It didn't matter how much Padre and Madre had me go , grounding me and taking items didn't work either.  As I saw you enter eighth grade,  I told my parents and John I was going to get my diploma.  Yes,  I was sneaky but wanted to make sure I could do it. You pushed me in classes I never thought I could pass but did with your patience.  Mom I am so proud as well as I know John junior is too. You have always made it fun to study with.  I just hope I can continue to do that in college so I can be an accountant. Mamacita I know you struggled and would get frustrated when it came easier for Stephanie but you hung in and stayed up all night at times.  I am proud of you mi amor.
Mija your father and I didn't ever think we see you graduate but glad you did. We have paid for a month vacation for you and John to go to Hawaii as soon as you get better.  My little mija. Your wife and you will have two new cars waiting for you when you get there.  You can keep your vehicles here at your parents home so we know you will return.  Nana I always will return to my Familia.  You have shown us what Familia is all about.  Madre Gloria thank you. What did you get us? Julianne..Mami I am curious. That's my girl. Says my papa.
