Right after defeating the abyss order and reuniting once and for all with his beloved sister, not one person in Teyvat has ever heard of the traveler before. It was his determination and perseverance who had made him known up to this day as an outlander, but most certainly.. a hero.
The two siblings wanted to continue their journey across different dimensions, however Aether decided to stay in Teyvat to build a family of his own.
He could never leave the friends he made throughout his winding journey to search for his sister. Those people whom he helped and helped him across the hardships he managed to endure. One particular person who caught his attention was you. He was completely enthralled with how beautiful your personality was and the optimism towards a brighter future, that's the reason why Aether never gave up on his adventure in the first place.
There was no way he could ever leave them and move on to the next dimension, and Lumine could understand what he meant. It seemed that the recent journey had made his brother into a complete new person. She was happy for him wanting to settle down. Although she felt homesick and lonely without his brother by her side, she still ventured off.
Mondstadt, the place where he first started his journey and the place where he met the person he wanted to spend the rest of his life with.
Upon meeting Paimon by the shore and got a gist of what was like in Teyvat, the two ventured off towards a city by the horizon. His magical abilities however, were sealed by the fateful encounter with the unknown god who also took his precious sister away. But as soon as he came across a statue of a god and resonated with the monument, he was bestowed with an ability to control elements within the nation.
As soon as the wandering traveler reaches the outskirts of the city, he is forced to stop by one of the knights in the city and so the story goes..
Right after claiming the title as the honorary knight, he'd explore the city with his trusted companion every day and night, as well as accept commissions from the adventurer's guild. One morning, he stopped by the library in the Favonius office where he met a person who was reading by the farthest corner of the library as if they were hiding from the world.
Every time the traveler would accept the commission that requires him to go to the library, he'd always see the mysterious person in the same place, reading the same book over and over again.
Until one day Aether asks the librarian, Lisa about who the person was. Albeit shocked, the female only told the person's name as she wasn't supposed to be telling their personal information. It was up to Aether if he wanted to know more about them.
But, he waited for a couple more days before approaching the person. Day by day, he would purposely accept Ella Musk's tedious commissions just so he could observe them as such to the point that he managed to collect a lot of information. Paimon would even push him to talk to the person he kept on admiring because even she knows the kind of impact they had on the traveler.
