"Until next time boys" laughed Karl, his voice muffled against somebody's shoulder, probably Dream's if we're thinking about height.

The boys were all huddled together in a group hug, saying their goodbyes for the final time before Karl left.

They were just round the corner of the airport, Dream's car parked on the curb of a random road, suitcase and bags messily lying on the pavement next to them.

Karl and Sapnap had spoken their words the night before, said a few final goodbyes in the morning, and knew that prolonging it any longer would just be rubbing salt in the wound.

Dream didn't want to go into the airport, especially seen as people knew they were all together now, also since he forgot a mask like an idiot.

So it's for that reason Sapnap and Dream climbed back into the car as Quackity, George and Karl walked away to the airport, each holding a bag or rucksack, Karl not turning to wave.

They made it as far as they could before Karl was the only one allowed through, then began their final goodbyes.

"See you bro" said Quackity, taking Karl's hand and bringing him into a hug, patting his back.
Karl didn't say much in return, just returned the hug until Quackity moved away, George coming forward.

"Bye Karl" he said as he hugged him, muttering a quiet "Thanks for all you did this holiday", not audible to Quackity, but loud and clear for Karl.

And with that, Karl walked away, turning a corner out of sight of the two boys, leaving them to turn back and make their way through the busy airport back to the car.

The car ride home was pretty quiet, Sapnap sat in the front with his arm on the window ledge, head looking out his eyes tracing the cars passing by.

Dream drove home, tapping his fingers along the edge of the steering wheel at every stoplight, glancing in the mirror in the hope of catching a glimpse of someone's eyes in the back.

George and Quackity both just sat there, missing their backseat partner, the prospect of the two of them leaving soon dawning quite heavily on them too.

They got home and mainly just chilled out on the sofa, Sapnap didn't wallow all day, knowing his other friends would be leaving soon, and making sure to spend the last couple days with them as best he could.

And as the night drew in, after a day of board games and movies, the boys headed to bed. Dream and George into their bedroom and Quackity into his.

Sapnap shuffled into bed, and it had only been two weeks, but the feeling of Karl beside him, happily laying next to him occasionally in the comfort of his arms, that feeling had become a familiar one.

And now it wasn't one he would feel till he saw Karl next, only one he could remember.

Message to Karl <3 :
Sapnap: Hey, you alright?
Karl: yeh :/ missing you tho
Sapnap: feeling the same here too
Sapnap: Don't worry, we'll see each other again soon, for now get some sleep
Karl: yeh ok
Sapnap: love you
Karl: love you

Another classic example of Sapnap giving out advice he'll never take himself. Tells Karl to sleep, then proceeds to stay awake himself for at least another three hours.

"George come on, it's your last day" whispered Dream, leaning over the brunette who was sound asleep in bed, pressing a kiss on his forehead.
"What?" responded a very groggy voice, shortly followed by a slow opening of eyes.
"It's your last day"
"No need to sound so happy about it" sat up George, flicking the blonde's face away from his.
