(Y/n): "I haven't been able to sleep for the last couple of weeks. This convention thing has gotten me all stressed and unable to rest. There are bags under my eyes because of this ridiculous thing I'm required to do because of work. Is it possible that they can just put me on a computer and that would count as my attendance?"

Boss: Snap out of it you're on air.

??: Can you answer the question I just asked.

(Y/n): Oh, sorry I zoned out a little there. Can you please remind me what your question was?

??: I said does it snow over in your town. I've grown up in cold areas so that's the climate I'm used to.

(Y/n): Well it's currently fall so there's no snow yet. That doesn't mean it's not cool here. The wind is still a nice way to stay refreshed as an alternative.

??: Is there a Tim Hortons?

(Y/n): You mean the hockey player?

??: No! I mean the coffee place.

(Y/n): We don't have any franchise business here. Everything is a mom-and-pop shop so you know anything you buy is made by hand. Except at the convince store, it's one of the few places that have name-brand items.

??: Is the iced coffee good?

(Y/n): I wouldn't know since I don't drink coffee. The last time I went there was for some hot chocolate and it was incredible. You could tell they put in the effort to make it from scratch.

??: Well I guess it wouldn't hurt to try it when I visit.

(Y/n): You're coming to our little town for the convention?

??: Yes I am.

(Y/n): I hope you enjoy your stay when you arrive. Everyone here is very welcoming so if you have any questions then feel free to ask any of the locals.

??: I'll keep that in mind.

The phone call now ends leaving (Y/n) some time to play one more song before the end of the broadcast.

(Y/n): The final song I have for you all today isn't by an individual. They put a group effort into this and the result was this beautiful gem.

(Y/n): That concludes today's broadcast. You have our gratitude here from LARS for tuning in. We hope to see you at the convention.

Boss: That's a wrap. Great job today you're slowly but surely improving.

(Y/n): Thanks.

Boss: Are you excited about going to the convention?

(Y/n): "I should be careful about what I say. If I tell him how I really feel this could result in something bad. The safe option is to just tell my boss what he would want to hear." I've been thinking about it so much that I haven't even been able to sleep.

Boss: That's both good and bad. I'm glad that you're fired up for the event but get some sleep. I don't want you to fall asleep during the convention.

(Y/n): I'll try.

Boss: Also make sure to have fun. You're young compared to me. I wish I could attend with you but it's my marriage anniversary. It's a shame since I wanted to meet some of the people attending.

(Y/n): "Lucky he gets to stay in a nice cozy home while I'll be suffering in a crowded building full of super fans. I'd trade places with him in a heartbeat even if his wife is high maintenance." Don't worry about it I'm sure that you'll get another opportunity one day.
