"If they liked me, wouldn't they have said something already?"

"Wouldn't you have?"

( I don't know why this is so short, but I'm bisexual so I like doing the hp girls and I plan on doing them more often lol )

"It's not funny 'Mione! I felt like Filch with that haircut!" You squealed at her.

Hermione couldn't help the giggles leaving her mouth at your story. Her eyes were shut tightly in an attempt to keep the tears in.

"So what did you do?!"

"What do you expect!? I wore a beanie for like two years!"

Hermione burst out into more giggles at that.

Harry and Ron stared at their friend from across the room, a perplexed look on Rons, and an amused smirk on Harry's. ( Ron doesn't have a crush on Hermione in this btw )

"What could they possibly be saying that makes Hermione act like this?" Ron whispered to Harry, not taking his eyes off of you two.

"Oh, can't you see it, Ron?"

"Wha-"

"She's got a crush" Harry said, obviously proud of himself for figuring it out.

I mean it really was obvious.

First of all, she always wanted to be around you.

Whenever you were alone, you could bet on Hermione joining you. Even if it was at super inconvenient times, like during a quidditch game.

Second of all, She hated whenever you were giggling with someone else.

Just seeing you laughing or even just talking to someone else, always irked her. She was known around the school as being a know-it-all, and she was terrified that you thought the same. Whenever you hung out with other people, she couldn't help but question what they had that she didn't. What made you want to hang out with them, that she didn't have.

And lastly, whenever she was with you, a blush was permanently rested upon her face.

That one is pretty self-explanatory.

Harry could only hope that you liked her back. He knew that by the way she looked at you, she really liked you. If you rejected her, she would have a hard time recovering from that.

You were humming quietly to yourself as you strolled down the halls. You had a free period, and you had planned on spending it reading in the courtyard. Nothing was better than a peaceful break at a peaceful place. Eventually, you found an empty bench, so you sat down and pulled out your book. It was a muggle one that Hermione had given you. The more you thought about it, you realized that you were the only person that she gave one of her favorites to. You shrugged it off though, you knew she didn't like you like that.

"Just tell them Mione!" Ron said, nudging his elbow at her and gesturing his head towards you.

"Yeah! If I have to sit here one more second and listen to you fawning over them, I might explode." Harry sighed out of annoyance.

"Oh come off it!" Hermione said

"If they liked me, wouldn't they have said something already?"

"Wouldn't you have?" Ron said, raising his eyebrow as if to say 'I obviously win this argument.

You heard whispering behind you. Turning around, you saw the golden trio talking in hushed but sharp tones.

"Uh, guys?!" You called, getting their attention

"Oh, Thanks a lot you two." Hermione cursed at them before approaching you.

She sat awkwardly next to you.

"So.. what are you reading?" She asked even though she could clearly see the cover.

You just held up the book before dropping it back into your lap, obviously unimpressed by the weak attempt at a conversation.

"Hermione-"

"Right, I-I'm sorry. I'm just in an off mood" She said, hoping that you would dismiss it. But you, being the stubborn person you are, you kept at it.

"Off mood?"

She nodded.

"Well, what happened?" You asked about it.

"It's nothing really Y/n I promise"

"Hermione, do you trust me?"

"Oh, don't be silly! Of course, I trust you!"

"Then tell me 'Mione!"

"FINE! You really want to know what it is?"

She didn't really give you much time to respond before pulling you into a kiss by your collar.

She immediately pulled away, a sudden feeling of embarrassment creeping up on her. But before she could get up and run away, you pulled her back and kissed her passionately. Hermione quickly melted into the kiss.

You two could hear the distant cheers of Ron and Harry, but it didn't matter. Nothing else mattered except for the moment. Not the upcoming war, not the judgment that you two might face. It didn't matter, not now, not ever
