" Manik Mera Yaar! " I closed my irritatingly and faked a smile looking at my business partners who were furrowing there brows. I excused myself from them and turned to get into a bone crushing hug. " Cabirr! " I shouted and he smiled.
Parting away he patted my back and I rolled my eyes at him. " Yaar kitne din hogaye humko mile. " He wiped his fake tears and I threw him a disgusted look. " Hum kal office main mile the and we did a video call 4 hours back! "
Meet Cabir Dhawan my only Best Friend whom I can trust. He is a irritating person but when it comes to me he is serious. He has always been in my bad and good times. He is like a mirror to me, he knows me in and out.
" Hogaya tera? " I questioned him as I saw him staring at some of the ladies present in the party. " Yaar, kitni baar bola hai ek ladki dhoond le. " I bursted at him as we made our way towards the bar.
" Koi dhang ki milti hi nahi, aa.. nandini ki behan hai kya? " He asked not in his senses as he sipped his drink smirking at a girl who winked at him. I choked on my water making him scrunch his nose.
" Soch samajh ke bola kar. " I glared at him and he nodded giving me a ' oh ' face.
' She is so pretty. '
We heard murmurings of some of the people on which I frowned. " Beautiful! " The word left my mouth as I stared at Nandini who was decending the stairs followed by some girls. Pushing away the people in my way I stood in front of her making her raise her head.
I forwarded my hand in front of her and she kept her small palms in mine. I smiled and led her towards the stage.

" I am sure Manik is gonna have a tough time. " Ma smirked at me and I looked done being embarassed. No doubt he got those genes from Mom. " Ma! " I whined and She chuckled kising my forehead when my mom entered.
" How are you Niyo? " She asked hugging Niyonika who reciprocated happily. They looked like the teen age best friends and I went aww on them. " I am good. " She smiled and nodded when they turned towards me.
" Thank you Sumi for this gift. " I saw Mom eyes turn glassy on which I got up from my chair. " Mom! " I wiped her tears and hugged her tightly while Ma patted my head. Breakigf the hug she wipes away the tears and smiled cupping my cheeks.
" Kash Heli bhi hoti yaha. " My face turned pale as Mom reminded me of Di. I don't feel something good. I feel something is going to be bad.
" Ahem, everyone is waiting! " We heard Dad as he entered inside and patted my head. " Kitni badi hogayi meri beti. Aur ek vo hai. " He closed his eyes clenching his jaw when Manik's dad side hugged him.
" Let it be. " He assured him blinking his eyes at him and he nodded.

I sat huffing tiredly beside Cabir and snatched his desert. " Kya? " I questioned him eating it hungrily while he gaped at me like I am an alien. " Mera tha voh! " He reminded and I shrugged my shoulders.
" Nandu, yaha kya kar rahi hai? " I heard Mom gasp as she entered the living room after meeting her friends. " Mom I am tried. You can't expect me to dance wearing this heavy lehnga. Plus the party is over now. "
I spoke while Cabir dug into his another plate which he brought 2 minutes back. " Nandu, Manik wait kar raha hoga tera! " She said softly coming towards me while I took his another plate too and he stood up angrily.
" Bhabhi! " I gave him a cheeky smile and he went away grumpily. " Mom woh kha ke so bhi gaya hoga. " I shook my head and continued to have food when something striked my mind.
" Tonight I am not gonna leave you. "
" Shit! " I cursed getting up from the couch and keeping the plate on the table. " NANDINI! " I closed my eyes sensing him being angry when I heard loud footsteps. " I am waiting for you since 2 hours! "
My eyes bulged out of the sockets seeing him in his vest and shorts. " Ab kya hua? " Dad asked irritatingly coming out of the room and winked at Manik who stared at the messy state of Ma.
" Dad! " He pouted tapping his feet on the stairs and Dad nodded.
" Cabir Drop Sumi and Andy home waise bhi your house comes in the same route. " Ma spoke eyeing at Cabir who touched her feet and nodded. " Ha kyun nahi, chaliye. " He smiled as he followed Mom And Dad outside.
Whatever happens these two friends would never forget their manners. I smiked proudly thinking about that when I caught Cabir lipsing something to Manik on which he smirked and nodded. They both did some action and cabir left showing a thumbs up and winking at me.
Are they mental patients? Dad, kise shaadi kardi meri!
" Nandu Beta der hogayi hai, ab tum dono bhi ' jake ke so jao. ' " He emphazed the last word and winked at Manik who smirked. What is wrong with these men?
He stepped forwards towards me as Mom And Dad went inside the room. " So? " He questioned taking steos faster trying to catch me. I laughed trying to run away while he chased me.
" Manik Baby! " I stopped dead in my tracks hearing the same voice. The voice now I feared of hearing which would take me away from Manik. I had guessed this, I knew something bad will happen.
Please Ayyappa, please.. don't seperate us again.
