-3rd Person Zak POV-
Karl walked past Zak, grabbing his wrist to bring him along. Zak yelped a bit in surprised, Darryl immediately jolting up, looking around quickly before his eyes landed on the two boys walking towards him. He narrowed his eyes at Karl, before having a somewhat surprised expression. The small brunette smiled warmly, stopping in front of him and let go of Zak.
' ' Karl? ' ' Darryl mumbled, raising an eyebrow. Zak tilted his head slightly, how many people did Karl know?
' ' Yeah! Long time no see! ' '
' ' You two know each other..? ' 'Darryl and Karl both nodded.
' ' What are you doing here? ' ' Darryl asked with a confused look.
' ' I could ask you the same thing~ ' ' The shorter boy responded with a wink. Darryl tensed, staring into the boy's eyes. Karl began laughing, playfully hitting the taller brunette in the arm.
' ' Lighten up, man! I was just playing ' ' Darryl let out an annoyed sigh before giving Zak a quick glance. He couldn't help but giggle, he didn't know why, but he started a short giggling fit.
' ' Shut up bitch! ' '
Zak turned his head, seeing Fundy glaring at him.
' ' What?' ' He asked.
' ' You fucking heard me! Shut your mouth before I beat the shit out of you!' '
Zak went quiet, ducking behind Karl for safety. He saw Darryl walk past them, stopping in front of Fundy.
' ' Get the fuck out of here before I mess up your other arm ' '
' ' You got lucky! I could have totally beat you ass if I knew you weren't a wimp! ' 'Zak now noticed the sling that Fundy's arm was in, was it really that hurt from what Darryl had done?
' ' Then do it, pussy ' '
Fundy went silent, his posture stiffening. He looked the brunette up and down, his eyes then darting over to Zak. He mouthed a quick 'lucky bastard' before turning his attention back to Darryl.
' ' I- I would but you're not worth my time! ' ' The boy scoffed, turning away from Darryl.
' ' I'd totally kick your ass but I have more important things to do ' '
With that, the boy walked away. Darryl let out a low chuckle, Karl giggling with him. Zak just stood in utter shock, Fundy backed down from a fight? What kind opposite world did he live in? He let out a defeated sigh, today was way too confusing and it had barely even started yet.
Zak almost jumped when he heard the bell ring out. Someone grabbed his wrist, pulling him away. Karl tossed his bag over, Zak catching it with his open arm.
' ' Thanks! ' ' He yelled as he was pulled past the lockers and around a corner. Karl yelled something back but he was too far to tell what he actually said. Zak picked up his pace, most jogging next to Darryl now. He questioned in his head why the boy was in such a hurry, did he care THAT much about getting to class on time? Zak didn't think he was the type to care about any sort of rules besides his own self imposed ones.
-3rd Person Darryl POV-
This couldn't be happening, why was he here. He could handle Nightmare and Napsap but George was a whole other story. George had been staring at him in the hall all morning, he tried to ignore it but when the bell rang the other brunette had started getting closer.
If Darryl was being honest, him and George had never really cared for each other. They may have not picked fights all the time like himself and Nightmare but they both had a silent hate for each other. After everything that happened between the group? There was no way George's intentions were good.
Darryl shook his head, that was all in the past. There was no way that George would recognize him. Of course Nightmare would, after everything that happened, and Napsap was his closest friend. But George? George never even looked at Darryl unless he was forced to. George probably just thought he was a new student, right? That has to be right.
He had to stop letting people get into his head so easily. This wasn't good for his mental health. But neither was knowing that your dead, so caring about any sort of health at this point was hopeless.
' ' Are you okay? ' ' A voice snapped him out of his thoughts. He turned and looked at Zak, who was struggling to keep up with him. The brunette slowed his pace, letting out an embarrassed chuckle.
' ' Yeah, I'm fine ' ' The brunette answered. ' ' Sorry about that ' '
' ' You're good fam ' 'Darryl took a moment to process the words. Is that how this bitch responds to shit on a regular basis? How the fuck was he even meant to respond to that? Darryl didn't know. So he didn't respond at all.
The two entered the class at the ring of the second bell, taking their seats near the back. Zak watched as students filled in and Darryl simply glared at the try hard shits that got here early. Fucking teachers pets. Mother nature just must have decided to make some kids fucking pricks and make the other little preppy bitches who do whatever older people say.
Fuck you mother nature.
Mr. Phil walked in, dragging Wilbur behind him as Thomas and Techno followed. The blonde boy said something to Wilbur with a smile before walking over to take his seat next to Toby. Techno just gave the taller boy a pat on the head and walked to his seat in the front. Phil pulled Wilbur close and whispered something in his ear before letting him go. The tall boy rubbed his arm where he had been pulled, sulking over to his seat behind Zak.
' 'So class, I have been informed of some students being treated unfairly. ' ' Mr. Phil started, shooting a quick glance at Zak and Darryl.
' ' Normally I wouldn't care, but the students who are treating others poorly are some of you who I expected better from ' '
The class fell silent and most silently glanced at Wilbur and Toby. Toby went pale as a ghost, his posture tensing with eyes on him. Wilbur just sat silently, still rubbing his arm.
' ' I will be having a chat with these students, and if you know of anyone else who has been, in a lack of a better word, bullying other students, please inform me ' ' With that, Mr. Phil went to his desk as the class sat in a deafening silence.
