Seven days.

Seven freaking days.

My freaking liars of brothers have been gone for seven days.

I haven't seen Ash in seven days.

Jasper has been in charge for seven days.

Jasper has two moods. Abuse of his power, which unfortunately is the main mood. But honestly, why do I expect better at this point? The second is surprisingly soft. There have been moments in the past week where Jasper's kindness has put me in shock. Jasper seems like he's trying to make up for the past in some messed up way. At one moment, he'll make small talk and the next he'll be threatening me to take the lock off my door for no reason. And that's basically how he's been this past week.

Kohen has pretty much shown himself when he goes to school and the occasional mealtime. I think he's really taking advantage of Caspian's absence by drinking himself into oblivion. He always has a bottle of some alcohol in his hand which Jasper does nothing about. I'm honestly a little worried Kohen may have a problem. Kohen and I have never directly had an issue, he's honestly one of the better brothers in my opinion. I think if he took less time drinking, and more effort into spending time with me, we could have a pretty good relationship.

Alani has been a true gift this past week. He is the peacekeeper of sorts and prevents Jasper and I from getting to fights. Since none of my actual brothers have put effort into spending time, Alani has made himself available as much as possible. We've cooked and baked together, been on facetime calls with Sorin together and Caspian even allowed him to bring me to the city a few times. He showed me the main parts so now I have an actual idea of where I live.

Rhys has been staying here too. He's mainly in the shadows but makes himself known occasionally. Honestly I forget about him sometimes. He comes along to school and when Alani and I go out on little trips. Him and Alani seem to be friends so they have a lot of conversations which I try to listen to, but cant understand since they seem to talk in some kind of code.

I've kept in contact with Sorin and Ambrose by texting and calling. They have both been very concerned with how I've been doing but I insist that I'm fine.

But I miss them.

Ambrose just a little, but Sorin, I really miss him.

I haven't spoken to Caspian at all. We communicate through Sorin or Ambrose. According to Sorin, Caspian is busy being the boss.

This brings me to my next point.

Operation WTFIEH.

Operation What The Frick is Everyone Hiding

So far, we've made little to no progress. The little progress is knowing my brothers are involved in something illegal, Ash is involved in some way too, and something bad is going to happen at the baking competition. But that's all I have so far. I've tried to pick up pieces from when Alani and Rhys speak in code but there is no rhyme or reasoning to their words. With Rhys constantly trailing me, exploring the house isn't a bright option.

I have an idea though.

If you want something done, you have to do it yourself. A phrase that has gotten me nowhere since I cant figure out a damn thing. So, I have an idea of asking for help. The people I want to ask, to my knowledge, are not associated with my brothers. And it's going to hurt to ask them for a favor. Hurt my pride. But, unfortunately at this point it's my only option.

Getting my backpack on, I rush downstairs so that Jasper doesn't leave without me again. Yep, AGAIN. A few days ago, I was two minutes late from the time he told me to be downstairs and he left without me. Rhys had to drive me to school. I didn't talk to Jasper for the rest of the day.
