"I don't need you to win anything for me," Misun said, trying to escape Haechan's grip

"I don't need you to win anything for me," Misun said, trying to escape Haechan's grip. The boy continued holding her wrist, pulling her with him until they reached the game booth.

"Aiming game. Really?" He said, looking at all the awards.

"Yep. And I'm going to win it myself." Misun said, approaching the booth, "Hit me." she handed the money, looking back to wink at Haechan. The boy laughed at her confidence, certainly sure she won't make it.

"I'll show you how it's done. Watch and learn Donghyuck." she took the ball with which she was supposed to hit all the cones for the prize she wanted.

First one. Missed.

Second one. Missed.

Third one. Missed.

"Thank you for playing. Would you like to try-" the owner of the booth was cut off by a loud slap.

"Take my money!" Misun dramatically yelled, handing the money once again.

She failed. Again. And again.

"Alright, let the real pro try it." Haechan grabbed her shoulders, moving her out of the way.

"Which one do you want?" He looked back, pointing at the plushies.

"The big Squirtle one." she pouted, crossing her arms.

"And I shall get that one for you."

"Real pro of you," Misun said, fiddling the small Pidgey plushie. The only one Haechan could win by knocking out only two cones.

"What do you mean? Was this not the one you wanted?" the two locked eyes and immediately burst into laughter.

"At least I won something. A little sign of appreciation would be nice. I wouldn't mind hearing a thank you." Haechan scoffed.

"What do you want? Money, slushie, my Pidgey plushie! Anything but a thank you! "

"Wow, I didn't know it was that hard for you to say a simple thank you."

"I show appreciation in different ways Hyuckie." she smiled, running towards Seori to show her the new plushie she just got. The group was standing next to a Ferris wheel, the biggest attraction of the night. The line was huge, so the rest decided to take place while waiting on the two runaways.

"I can't believe you only knocked out two cones." Hendery grinned, playfully pushing Haechan.

"Oh, we were waiting in line for the Ferris wheel. It's our turn now!"

"Great. I'm going last." Misun moved behind the rest.

"Yeah, I'm going last too." Haechan skeptically said, standing next to Misun.

"Oh yeah, Hyuckie's afraid of heights." Mark smiled, ruffling Haechan's hair.

"We have to get on in pairs soo-"

"Couples are together." Aeri pointed out. Yangyang was about to walk over to Misun but was blocked by Hendery pulling him closer. "I'm with Yang!"

"Hyung! Jeno left me. We can pair up, right?" Jaemin walked towards Mark as the older smiled.

"Since both Misun and Haechan want to go last, they can go together. I can be with Ning. So that means-"

"Oh, no. Please no."

"Yo Skunky! Come on, we're up first!" Minjeong whistled, tapping the metal seat.

"I hate you all. I really do." Renjun stated, walking in to sit with Minjeong.

The rest of the group got seated, and it was Misun and Haechan's turn.

"Come in. What are you waiting for?" Misun stared at Haechan, who hesitated to enter the ride. "Oh my, are you that scared!" he wasn't answering, but his eyes were screaming yes. Misun stretched out her hand, taking hold of his.

"If you say a word about this, I-"

"I won't. We all have fears." Misun smiled. "Now, trust me, this will be fun."

The wheel began spinning, and Haechan just prayed they get down as soon as possible. It's like the universe heard him. And did the exact opposite. The weel stooped, with Misun and Haechan right at the top.

"What the fuck!" the boy screamed, looking down.

"Hey, calm down, calm down. It just stopped for a bit. It happens sometimes. Just don't look down. Look in front or look at me. Yeah, look at me." The girl moved her head in front of him, waving her hand to gain his attention. "Uhhh, let's talk, ok?" she tried to distract him from the current situation.

Haechan grinned, looking at the girl. "God, Kang Misun, it's really hard to hate you. You're too nice."

"I figured you got that cold-hearted, unfriendly character going on. I didn't buy it one bit." Misun looked at him smiling.

"I tried acting cool and like I hate you and all. But honestly, I admire you. You are smart and talented, and I'm glad we're friends."

"I'm glad we're friends too." she smiled back, "And thank you for the opportunity you and the guys gave me. And for helping me with the game. It means a lot."

"Did I just hear thank you?"

"Mhm, no I don't think you did."

"I'm pretty sure I did." As the two were arguing, the wheel began spinning again. And soon enough, the group was together, back on the ground.

"I hated this." Renjun groaned, exiting the fair.

"What! We connected on a deeper level." Minjeong followed behind.

"So Misun. Was Haechan very scared? Was he pissing himself? I need to know how scared was he on a scale of one to ten." Yangyang approached the girl.

"Actually, he wasn't scared at all." she smiled at the mentioned boy.
