Jimbo is telling me what him and Claire talked about during history class while everyone else is watching on robot three, he's saying how Claire does like him back but she's too busy to be in a relationship right now all my hearing is: dude she rejected you
                          
Jimbo  offended: no she didn't reject me she said that she's too busy to pursue a relationship and honestly I am as well you know it's maybe after the play we can go out on an actual date
                          
I placed my hand on his shoulder: or you could accept the fact that Claire and you aren't destined to be and you could try going for another girl
                          
Jimbo and Rex give me a really look well I assume Rex is he's kind of giving me the puppy eyes which are adorable, but for my best friend I can clearly tell that he's got his mind it dead set on at least try things out with Claire


                          
Hey I've got nothing against Chloe but it just feels like Jimbo though is kind of trying to go for someone out of his league I mean Claire is quite literally the most popular girl in school she's got good looks good grades and she's an actress. And my best friend is fun to be around but since he's been hiding the majority of his talents it might be hard for him to find a girl that's interested in dating him
                          
Besides I know what it's like to enjoy your hopes on dating one pacific girl that is way out of your league, oh my God first year of high school was hell when I confessed my love to Mary I was a laughing stock for  two months
                          
I'm just trying to make him understand there are plenty of fish in the sea and not to get so caught up in just catching one he deems as the literal definition of perfect
                          
Jimbo: maybe you're right but I don't even know how to talk with other girls I mean I don't think my little accident technique is gonna work again
                          
I grabbing by the shoulders causing him to stop, I shall give him my secret weapon to picking up girl.... The shoulder touch
                          
I explain: Try the shoulder touch move all you have to do is gently put your hand on her shoulder and flatly say...hey~
                          
I look down and I see Rex has tilted his head as if to say what the hell are you doing but he's a dog he doesn't understand human picking up chicks
                          
Jimbo looks at me with a blank expression: how many times has that worked?
                          
I confidently say: hasn't failed me yet
                          
Jimbo still the same blank expression asks another question: okay how many times have you used it?
                          
Dammit he saw right through me, How is it that my best friend cannot see but yet he can see right through me: okay fine I've never used it before but you still can't deny it could work
                          
Jimbo changes the topic: okay maybe me and Chloe aren't to go out but the very least she can't kiss Steve that's not for me but for her
                          
I agree, not because Steve is just a massive jerk to everyone but no girl should have to go through the indignity of kissing that blonde baboon
                          
I ask as we continue walking down the hallway and I noticed Steve coming towards us alone: so how are we going to get rid of Steve so he doesn't show rehearsals?
                          
Jimbo gives me a cheeky smile: just follow my lead

                          
We walk by Steve but as we do Jimbo starts talking about something which grabs Steve's attention: i'm serious the rehearsal rooms are so packed up at Clares now being forced to change in one of the storage rooms you know the one near the boys locker room
                          
Oh I see what he's doing, Jim you stinky little devil I quickly glance back at steve it's now intrigued in our fake conversation. This is gonna be fun
