I twirl the phone cord around my finger, listening to the dial tone as I pace back and forth. Kurt finally picks up.
"Hello?"
"Hi, Kurt. It's y/n," I say quietly, trying to sound flirtatious. "I think I overreacted when I heard about that whole rumor, earlier. I hope you're not hurt too badly."
"I'm not."
"And Ram?"
"He's fine."
"Good. That's good. Glad to hear you're both safe." I laugh quietly. "Speaking of that rumor... How did you know it was always a fantasy of mine to... Have two guys at once? If you know what I mean." He doesn't reply for a few seconds.
"Eh... Lucky guess?" I bite my lip.
"Well... How would you like to make it a reality, instead?"
"Me?" I laugh softly, as if it's obvious.
"Of course, silly." I hear a snicker. I glance back at Veronica, silencing her with a glare. She smirks.
"Wait. What about Sawyer?" I freeze, widening my eyes at Veronica. She shrugs helplessly.
"Veronica...?" I scramble to come up with something. "Ah... What about her, dreamboat?"
"I thought she was your girlfriend or something. What'll she do?" I pause, trying to think of something to say. I finally fall back into my facade.
"Girlfriend? Are you kidding me?" Veronica gives me a fake pout. I smile, tapping her nose.
"So... She's not?"
"Who's to say? She doesn't even know I'm doing this right now." I rest my knee beside Veronica, who pulls me into her lap. She smirks, opening my shirt and sliding it off my shoulders. "She's absolutely smitten with me. Don't worry."
"What if she finds out?" I tap her lip in a gesture to keep quiet as she opens her mouth to talk. I shake my head slightly, leaning in and teasing her with the possibility of a kiss. "What'll you do then?" A low laugh emanates from my lips, partially caused by her reaction.
"Oh, darling. Don't be ridiculous. Veronica Sawyer is wrapped around my finger whether I was into her or not. It's adorable the lengths that girl goes for me. She wouldn't doubt it for a second if I tell her it's all some dumb rumor." I innocently lift up her chin with my forefinger and thumb, raising an eyebrow. I know I'm laying it on thick, but I need to get him convinced.
"Really?" I close my eyes as a trail of hungry kisses work down my neck, her hands slowly sliding up my thighs.
"Mm," I hum in agreement and pleasure. I tilt my head up slightly, tugging on Veronica's hair as she plants kisses on my skin. "Besides, she couldn't satisfy me nearly as much as- As... T-Two guys could." Her hands slide higher up my thighs, making me gasp. She bites down hard on the sensitive spot on my neck. "Ah-!" I quickly cut myself off, digging my nails into her arm as I bury my face in her shoulder. Goddamnit.
"You sure about that, darling?" Veronica murmurs in my other ear. I quiver, then hear Kurt laugh in disbelief on my other side.
"Did you just- What was that sound you made?" I stammer, hitting Veronica's arm.
"Well, I-I was just... Thinking about later. If you know what I mean. And hopefully you are, too." I wait for his response.
"... I am." I grin, looking triumphantly at Veronica.
"Good. Perfect. Then meet me in the cemetery. At dawn. And don't forget your buddy Ram." I slam the phone down, smashing my lips against Veronica's before she even says anything. "Don't make me moan when I'm on the phone with Kurt Kelly," I growl. She runs her hands up and down my thighs, smiling.
