I felt him stiffened on my back before letting out a deep breath.
"Just don't mind it. Just, just a bit of a misunderstanding. Anyway, let's take a rest. We still have 5 hours before the party," he grinned before dragging me back inside the house.

It wasn't my first time inside Tay's room but considering our relationship this time, it certainly was a bit unnerving.

I swallowed the lump in my throat as Tay sat on the bed and tapped the space beside it, telling me to sit down.
I awkwardly obliged as I could feel my nerves wracking at the simple thought of being in an enclosed space with Tay.

We stayed in that position for a couple of minutes with no one saying anything. And despite the silence between us, it was comforting.
