RYUJIN

Chaeryeong and I are currently at her place, hanging out. We haven't seen each other for a while because we were both busy with our work and life.

"So, the documentary is already done?" She asked.

"Yeah," I answered. "It was so fast, but, I really enjoyed it given that it's my first project here in Korea."

"Not because Yeji's there?" She asked with a teasing tone.

"That's given." I said.

"How are you two?"

"We're doing.. fine and happy," I replied. "It feels strange and new sometimes since I really feel that both of us matured the way we think, yeah. But, still, it's on the positive side since it feels like we became stronger as well."

"Did you guys got back together?"

"Yeah," I answered and smiled remembering our moment last week. "I asked her last week and she said yes."

"Yeah, seeing how you can't hide your whisker dimples, I can see you're really happy."

"I am." I said and giggle.

"What's your plans though?"

"What do you mean?" I asked.

"Living together? Marriage? Hello, we're not getting any younger," She asked. "I mean- I'm not pressuring you or anything, huh."

"We haven't talked about it yet," I uttered. "Of course, I want to live with her and grow old with her. But, yeah, it still depends on Yeji as well. We don't really have to do it if she's not good with it. What matters to me right now is that we're together."

"I'm happy for you, dumb." She said and gave me a warm smile.

"What's with the sudden emotional response?" I asked and laughed.

"Just because," Chaeryeong said. "I witnessed how you two struggled when you weren't together. Especially you, I'm sure you were lonely in UK. And with Yeji, we're with her here in Korea and we could clearly see and sense her pain, regardless of her attempts to hide it."

"Yeah,"

"Did you blame her?" Chaeryeong suddenly asked and I looked at her. "For the pain, you know."

"No," I firmly answered. "I did not even think about blaming her for the pain I felt. Just, you know, 'what if's. What if our situation was better? What if we both fought for what we have? What if I stayed here by her side? Nonetheless, I did not blame her for her decisions. It must have been hard for her as well."

"You really love her, huh."

"Yeah," I answered. "Much more than I had anticipated."

"Where is Yeji now, by the way? At your place?"

"No," I said. "She's with Yuna and Lia, at their dorm right now since they had a schedule earlier this morning. But, she'll sleep at my place tonight."

"Oh my God!" She suddenly exclaimed. "We should hang out as five! What do you think?"

"Let's do that," I uttered excitedly as well. "I'll talk to Yeji about this."

"Damn, I just remembered, I'm the only single if the five of us hang out." She said and laughed. "I'm glad Yeji was with me when the four of us gathered together while you were still in UK. Yuna and Lia was so touchy towards each other! But, it's okay. They're adorable."

"Find yourself someone and bring that person too," I said.

"No, thank you," She said. "I'm fine with my life right now. I don't really see the need for me to find someone."
