68. Can't let her down

                                    

                                          
At the hospital
                          
You were quickly taken to a private room on a wheelchair, you changed in to a hospital gown. They made you lay on a bed waiting for an available doctor, because the one you had was sick. After waiting in pain they finally found a doctor, it was a man in his mid seventies his head was filled with white hair, he walked slowly in the room. 
                          
"Hello I'm doctor Arthur, and I will be helping you deliver your twins today " he talked slowly and calmly. 
                          
"Hi Arthur could you be so kind and GET THEM OUT OF ME !!" you yell at him. 
                          
The old man was startled by your attitude. 
                          
"Y/n calm down your gonna give him an 
heart attack" Chris whispers in your ear, trying making a joke over the fact how old the doctor was. 
                          
"Shut up" you give him a tired punch. 
                          
"I'm going to check how many centimetres you are dilated, I will stick my finger in to see. If you are ten centimetres that means you are in labour and you can start pushing" dr. Arthur says. He sticks his fingers in making your feel very uncomfortable. "yes I see seems like you are in labour" 
                          
"No fucking shit that's why I'm here" you reply getting the urge to push. 
                          
"Okay now I'm going to need you to push when I say" Arthur says 
                          
You adjusted you self laying completely on your back. You look up at Chris who gives you a assuring smile. You felt happy but that changed real fast when a contraction hit. 
                          
"Okay now push" you hear Arthur say
                          
You put your feet up to your chest, Chris hold one of your leg while he looks at what was happening down there. 
                          
 You start pushing, holding in your breath 
                          
"Yes keep pushing" you hear. You keep pushing more as you stop to catch your breath. 
                          
"What dose it look like down there ?" You ask Chris 
                          
"I see some blood" Chris says. He wasn't disgusted at all, unlike last time he was about to faint then, but know he found childbirth beautiful. 
                          
"Okay now push" you hear a very slow voice say 
                          
You push even harder. You felt you whole body stretch open "ow" you cry as you felt the head starting to come out 
                          
"I see a head" dr. Arthur says smiling he barely had teeth. 
                          
Chris quickly looks seeing a small bloody head poking out of you   
                          
"Y/n your doing a great job few more pushes and the baby's out" Chris says kissing your forehead. 
                          
You nod 
                          
You start pushing again there was a lot of screaming and cursing. You felt the head pop out. 
                          
"The head is out don't stop pushing" the doctor says 
                          
You bite your jaw giving one last good push as you feel the small body getting pulled-slide out of you. You put your head back in relief as Arthur puts the baby on you naked chest, the worm touch of your small baby was beautiful. You were unbothered by all the blood on you the only thing you were focusing on was this beautiful creation that you and Chris made with a lot of love. You hear the high pitch cry of a new born baby. At that moment it was the most beautiful sound ever. 
                          
"The boy came first" you hear Chris say exited. It was your guys first son
                          
"Oh my god, hi baby Liam" you look at him he had his little eyes shut, he was crying. 

                          
"You did it y/n I'm so proud of you" Chris says wiping away his happy tears. You two kiss. 
                          
"Naha it's not over yet you have one more baby to go" Arthur says. 
                          
You look at Chris in pain you really had forgotten the fact you had to push out another baby 
                          
"It's okay" Chris says nodding 
                          
You put your legs up and Chris holds it again. You still had Liam on you chest 
                          
"Okay now start pushing" you hear Arthur say
                          
You push as much as you could but you still felt like nothing was coming out
                          
"I just need you to keep pushing this ones a bit tricky" Arthur admits. 
                          
"I can't I can't Chris I'm sorry it hurts so bad" you cry in pain as you try catching your breath. 
                          
"Listen to me you pushed Liam out I know you can do this Y/n, I know it's hurt and I'm so sorry but it's worth it" Chris says 
                          
You start pushing again 
                          
"Oh dear" you two hear Arthur say 
                          
"What's wrong" Chris quickly walks over to see 
                          
"Looks like you have a breech baby" Arthur says 
                          
You and Chris look at him both confused 
                          
"A breech birth is when the baby is born bottom first instead of head first" he explains. 
                          
"And is that safe ?" Chris ask concerned
                          
"No actually the baby is at very high risks" he says. You instantly felt a shadow of sadness rise over you 
                          
"But you will have to push the baby out dead or alive. I'll stick my hand inside of you to get the legs, arms and shoulders out" dr. Arthur says
                          
You gather yourself together as you start pushing. You squeeze Chris's hand tightly
                          
You felt a lot of pressure down there as it started to burn a lot. "I can't it burns" you cry into Chris's arms. You felt the doctor sticking his hand inside getting the legs out. 
                          
"Just a bit more I know you can do this, I see her small feet come on Y/n do this for Abigail she is so excited for the twins we can't let her down" Chris says still holding your leg up. 
                          
You push and push and push even more "agghhhhhhh" you scream as you feel him stick his hand inside helping the shoulder come out. 
                          
"Just a few more push" he says
                          
You push and push as you feel the head come out. You rest your head as Arthur puts Ellie on your chest next to Liam, you looked at her she was completely purple she didn't move or even make a sound. 
                          
You looked at Chris who walked away crying as you looked at your baby who wasn't breathing. 
                          
Arthur quickly pumps some light air in to Ellie's mouth nothing happened. You hug them both and cry "please baby breath" you cry. You look over at Chris who had his mouth covered as he cried as well. 
                          
"Wait she's breathing" you hear Arthur say it was the first time his words didn't bother you. 
                          
You look up seeing baby Ellie as one of the nurse pumped more air in Ellie's mouth. 
                          
You heard her little high pitch cry, you cried in relief and so did Chris.
