Donghyuck and Renjun weren't talking to each other throughout the rest of the day and it made their friends worry. They didn't even sit next to each other on the bus.
When they were dropped off at their bus stop, Donghyuck did his usual routine in following Mark home while Renjun let out a sigh and trailed behind the younger.
Donghyuck made sure Mark went inside his house, the snack basket still in the older's hands which made the younger smile. He walked the rest of the way home and didn't even stop to turn around and say goodbye to his best friend.
Now Renjun's not going to lie, that hurt like hell.
The younger just stepped inside his house, slamming the front door a little too hard for his liking. Renjun shook his head and went inside his own house as well.
Donghyuck was greeted with his parents at the dinning table as they had gotten home early from work.
"I'm home!" Donghyuck chirped with a smile, but his smile wasn't as big as it's usually would be any other day.
He glided over to his parents and gave them both a kiss on the cheek, them returning their kisses too.
"I made your favorite. It's in the microwave. Just heat it up if you need to," Donghyuck's mother informed him as the young boy nodded his head in excitement at the thought of food.
He quickly washed his heads and shrugged off his bag. He removed his plate from the microwave and set it on the table before diving in.
"How was your day, son?" Donghyuck's father asked him after taking a sip of his coffee.
"Good. Do you think I can go out shopping with my friends for the winter formal this weekend?" The tanned boy asked.
Before Donghyuck had left school today, he made sure his friends were available this weekend. Even though he and his best friend weren't on good terms right now, he still wanted the older to be there.
"Is Renjun going with you?" Donghyuck's father questioned and the young boy stiffened for a second, but fortunately it wasn't noticable.
Donghyuck just gave a smile and nodded while stuffing his face with food.
"I don't see why not then. Just be back before seven," Donghyuck's mother answered while his father nodded.
Donghyuck's parents were pretty over protective of the tanned male. They wouldn't want him going out by himself unless he's with Renjun. His parents can't say no if he's with Renjun anyway because they trust the older (of course they trust their son as well but they'd feel more comfortable if Renjun was with him since they've known each other for a long time). He was very kind and respectful towards them and they appreciated the way Renjun makes Donghyuck happy.
It's not that they don't trust Donghyuck. It's just that everyday there's something dangerous happening and they'd much rather Donghyuck be with friends than being alone just in case something were to occur.
Both of the two teenagers didn't mind it, but today wasn't expected since they had fought.
"Thank you!" Donghyuck showed his gratitude while thinking at the same time. 'I hope he's still going.'

Mark was having difficulty getting his homework done this evening and it wasn't because the assignment was hard, it was that he was getting annoyed with his surroundings. He couldn't concentrate knowing that his baby brother was in the same room with him eating his chips sloppily and obnoxiously, hearing each chew he made since he wouldn't keep his mouth shut.
Mark had been undergoing his misophonia since the age of twelve, always getting annoyed by sounds that triggered him. The main sources of sounds that bothered him were chewing loudly, breathing, and sometimes crying. Mark isn't able to control the anger that flows through his veins each time he hears one of those sounds.
His parents had taken him to the doctors when he was younger and even tried therapy. And although it helped a little bit, there were still certain sounds that really triggered him. (But he hasn't been to therapy in a long time since his parents have this new found habit of spending their money on unnecessary things).
For instance, Lee Donghyuck. The younger's persistence bothered Mark since the tanned male wouldn't leave him alone during lunch. He himself would have to stand up and leave the cafeteria before he explodes because Donghyuck has a tendency that he isn't aware about. That would be fumbling around with the rings on his fingers and each time they'd clash together the noise would trigger Mark.
The older didn't even know that was one of his triggers until he met Donghyuck. It's been the same thing every single day and the younger wouldn't leave him alone. With the combination of the rings colliding together and Donghyuck's voice, which he believes is too pitchy and annoying, Mark was having a hard time keeping himself together.
As rude as it sounds, Mark doesn't care about Donghyuck at all. As a matter of fact, he can't stand him. he's so bratty and he always gets what he wants. And then he goes around the school building everyday with a smile on his face that screams 'spoiled brat.'
Donghyuck needs to leave him alone before he regrets not doing it earlier. He doesn't want to find out what could happen.
"Yejun." Mark stated sternly, the little boy could practically hear the frustration in his older brother's tone which scared him. He knew what Mark was going to say and ask of him.
"Sorry," Yejun apologized, taking one last chip and chewing with his mouth closed before putting it away.
Of course Yejun knew of Mark's disorder despite how young he may be. How could he not? Especially after all the times Mark had gotten pissed and scolded him. He knew better than to test his older brother's limits as last time didn't end so well...
