Tahny

I woke up to an empty hospital room. The television across from me was silent while the constant beeping from a machine filled the silence.

Damn that shits annoying

My throat ached when I tried to swallow down a breath. I closed my eyes with a silent groan, tugging on a tube trailed down my neck. Something in the back of my throat tugged as well, causing me to gag and my eyes to water. I put together that the tube was inside of my mouth and decided to leave it alone. I reached for a cup on a rolling tray, my fingers brushing it before it fell to the floor, making a loud clatter that made my head pulse.

Soon a little lightskin lady walked in, seeing the mess of water and the cup on the floor. "You must be thirsty, let me get you a new glass. Ma'am, can you get this cleaned up for me?" She said to someone outside of my room, before walking out. I closed my eyes, laying my head back with a soft thud. I let out shaky breaths, huffing as the tube in my throat began to irritate me.

"Jesus girl, you worried the hell out of me!" A voice said in front of me. I opened my eyes to see Macy, smiling gently as I reached my hand out to her. She took it, her eyes turning glossy before she sniffled. I felt my mouth form a somewhat frown, squeezing her hand a bit. "You have gotta stay out the hospital, you give me a heart attack every time." She said through small tears and I reached up, wiping her cheeks before my hand slipped back down on the bed. Soon a lady with a mop came in, cleaning up the water as the same nurse came in with a glass of water. She smiled at Macy, handing her the glass. "Here you go ma'am, I'm sure she's parched." I grunted in agreement, causing Macy to laugh gently before she placed the straw against my lips. I happily accepted it, taking tiny sips and wincing as the tube irritated my throat. I tugged at it, signaling I wanted it out.

"No no no you can't take that out just yet. You must have it on for at least 5 hours after you regain full consciousness." The nurse said as she placed her hand over mine. Then she reached for a remote, causing my bed to lift until I was in a comfortable position. I held the cup then, leaving the straw in my mouth as I took small and slow sips. "I'll notify the doctor she is awake and then he will come and tell you what should happen next." Macy thanked the nurse, watching her leave before looking back at me. She took the glass when I held it out to her, placing it on the rolling tray again.

Where's the other girls?

I looked at her with furrowed brows, seeing her furrow hers as well. "What's up?" I couldn't think of a way to ask her, flicking my eyes to the empty seats to hopefully get her to understand. The same confused expression took over her face. She shook her head gently, tilting it to the side. "I'm confused, I need more hints." I rolled my eyes, smiling softly as I continued to think of a way to show her what I mean. I soon got an idea, holding up four fingers to her. I pointed to one finger, then pointed to her to show it symbolized her. I pointed to my second finger, pointing to myself to show it represented me. Then I pointed to the last two fingers, moving my pointing finger over to the empty chairs. It took a minute but soon she widened her eyes in realization, an 'O' forming with her lips. "Oohhh Yaz and Olivia?" I nodded a bit, smiling at how she finally understood. Her face fell at the question, a look of sadness going through her eyes. "They got in a fight." My eyes widened a bit at the news. Our group wasn't really one to fight with each other, especially not Yasmine. I couldn't even picture Yasmine getting into a fight with Olivia but then again, I know how Olivia can get under stress like this. I did my best to purse my lips, letting my head fall back against the pillow beneath me. I sat there and started thinking of some kind of solution to this.

I think maybe if I call them both up here and force them to talk it out then it'll be fine. Nah I should just text them, I can't talk with this tube down my damn throat. I could get just get Macy to tell them I said to come to the hospital to work it out. Either way is honestly easy it just getting them to talk will be the problem. They are both stubborn and Olivia will immediately try to get physical with her for the fact that they have beef together. But since we've all been together for nearly four years this fight shouldn't even be serious enough to last long. Or I'm just thinking too-
