Chapter 37

                                    

                                          
Tae's pov:
                          
I slumped onto the bed in our bedroom after tucking Estelle into bed in hers. 
                          
"Does she have a fever?" Thanit who was sitting leaning on the headboard asked. 
                          
"No. Just a small cold I guess. We'll have to wait till morning to see if her temperature goes up." I answered. 
                          
He nodded.
                          
I crawled closer to him and snuggled against his side. 
                          
He chuckled and wrapped an arm around me. 
                          
"What are you doing?" I asked looking at his laptop screen. 
                          
"Just looking through some pictures." He answered. 
                          
A wide smile formed on my face as I saw pictures of our wedding. 
                          
"That was the best day of my life," I muttered remembering everything that had happened on that day. 
                          
"Same here." He kissed my hair. 
                          
I tilted my head when I saw a picture of the place where we had spent our wedding night. 
                          
"When did you take these?" I asked.
                          
 There were pictures of the sunrise from the balcony of our suite. It looked beautiful. 
                          
"While you were asleep. See?" He scrolled to some other pictures. 
                          
I blushed deeply when I saw pictures of me sleeping bathed in the morning sunlight. 
                          
I was laying on my stomach hugging one of the pillows. 
                          
The duvet was only up to my waist and the multiple hickeys and bite marks on my back were on full display. 
                          
"Why did you take those pictures?" I pouted. 
                          
"I couldn't help it. You looked so beautiful like that. Bathed in the early morning  sunlight." He smiled. 
                          
I groaned and buried my face in his chest. 
                          
He laughed and hugged me tightly. 
                          
I looked at the screen as he kept scrolling through the pictures. 
                          
My mind wandered to our wedding night. 
                          
That night...
                          
That was the first time in my life I had such an amazing experience in bed. 
                          
The first time the other person actually cared about what I want and if I'm ok. 
                          
The first time that fear and pain wasn't gripping my whole being while doing it. 
                          
The first time I felt so loved and safe while doing it. 
                          
The first time I didn't have to bite my hand to stop myself from screaming in pain and clench my eyes shut to try and shut everything out while waiting for it to be over. 


                          
I looked around wide-eyed as we went into our suite. 
                          
The whole place was beautifully decorated with candles and fairylights. 
                          
They gave the whole suite an ethereal and peaceful feel. 
                          
"Come on." Thanit took my hand and pulled me towards the ensuite bathroom. 
                          
I couldn't help but stare in wonder as I saw the bathtub. 
                          
There were roses in the water and around the tub as well. 
                          
There were bath scents, oils, and small candles on the edges of the tub 
                          
"Before we do anything, let's take a warm bath and relax ok? We'll take things slow tonight. No rushing. We have a lot of time." He hugged me from the back.
