At blake castle

"Wow, blake castle! I've waited my whole life to see this." Daphne spoke in pure awe. The gang was getting a tour by shannon.

"There's over 800 years of Blake family history within these halls. Ours is rich history of falling through trap doors, finding dangerous secret passageways, and getting caught in overly complicated booby traps of our own design." Shannon explained, showing a tapestry of such events on one wall.

"The one thing we Blake's have been known for is being.." she sighed. "How should I put this? Danger-prone." The others looked at Jake and daphne with knowing looks.

Jake smiled. "In my case it helped sometimes."

Shannon continued. "Despite these years of misfortune... no one at blake castle has ever had any trouble with the monster." She watched as the newly repaired sailboat was being towed from the shore to the shipyard to have it checked over.

"Like that's what I like to hear." Shaggy scooby and Jake sighed.

"That is, until now." Shannon interjected solemnly.

"Like zoinks." Shaggy sighs.

"Ofcourse.." Jake murmured.

"It actually began just a few nights ago. I was by myself, down at the boat dock." Shannon told them. "All of a sudden, something very big and fast came cruising into the cove. It disappeared below the surface, and I lost sight of it. When I fell asleep that night... i awoke to the strangest sound I'd ever heard in me whole life" she said it was like a whale of some kind but then saw something with 2 bright red eyes staring back at her. When the lightning struck it revealed the Loch Ness monster!

It had dark brown reptilian skin, long mouth head on a long neck, mouth full of humongous sharp teeth, with small green fins running down its neck. As she screamed in fright the monster roared like a t-rex as it turned away and vanished into thin air. "It was gone just like that." Shannon finished. They all heard rattling, and saw Jake shag and scoob in a suit of armor.

"Come on you guys out of the armor." Fred ordered.

"Like ever heard of Scotland the brave?" Shaggy asked lifting up the mask of the helmet. "Meet shaggy the chicken."

"Jeepers!" Daphne was in shock. "So, the monster isn't locked in the loch?"

"Many people claim to have seen the loch ness monster on land." Velma explained. Jake popped his head out of the armor.

"Just what we need is a giant ancient monster that can go on land and sea."

"Raint that the truth." Scoob said from the armor.

"When I woke up the next morning.." shannon breathed. "I tried to convince myself it was only a dream but-"

"it was not a dream. And last night's shipwreck was no accident." A Scottish female voice spoke up from the upper rafters of the library. And a nearby suit of armor, the entire wall spun around revealing a brunette women in a chair, wearing a dark garnet red jacket with tan pants, black boots, a small pair of glasses, and a beret on her head. "It was the great beast of the loch."

"Zoinks! Who's the creepy lady on the beret?" Shaggy yelled out

"Zoinks! Who's the creepy lady on the beret?" Shaggy yelled out.

"Ri dont know." Scooby replied. The 3 hid in the armor being still.

"Everyone I'd like you to meet-" Shannon started.

"Prof. Fiona Pembrooke." Velma cut in. "Scotland's most accomplished loch ness expert, and author of the book. 'Legend of the loch'."

"How marvelous." Prof. Pembrooke said. "What a pleasure to meet someone who's done her proper research."

"I read that you're still trying to prove the monster exists, even though it destroyed your career, demolished your scientific credibility, and devastated you financially."

"Apparently, too much research." Prof pembrooke commented to herself.
