I woke up this morning in a good mood.
media day
I showered and got dressed.
I pulled on a pair of LV shorts from the new collection and one of my blue DR3 jerseys.
I put on my watch then left.
I met up with Michael downstairs and we left.
Blake was going to stay in today.
As Michael was driving I tried to call Zahra but her phone went straight to voicemail.
that's weird
After a few minutes we got to the track.
We got out the car and got our temperatures checked.
Once we were cleared we entered.
I took a few pictures before going into the hospitality.
I got upstairs to the lounge and got myself some oatmeal and coffee. I sat down with Michael and we ate.
"so what are you planning on doing for the summer break?" He asked.
"I want to go LA"
"that doesn't sound romantic at all" he chuckled.
"I need to go see my house plus I'm sure Zahra will like to go back to the states"
After we ate I changed into my McLaren polo. I put on my mask and we left to do the track walk.
We met up with Tom and a few of my engineers.
I studied the height of the curbs and chicanes carefully.
I got down at ground level to try to average how I'll need to take the turn without causing damage to the front wing.
After we completed the walk, me, one of the PR ladies and Michael went to start doing media.
I had my first interview with Sky Sports.
"morning Daniel" Natalie smiled.
"morning" I smiled back.
"so how are you feeling about this weekend?"
"I'm pretty confident. as many people know this is one of my favorite tracks on the calendar"
