First id just like to say the timeline will be off and the ages as well and some of the events and how things go and how the characters act. Also Percy is a girl. Im going to try my best to be accurate with things like ADHD and the adoption process as well as if they get hurt what happens but if you notice anything off or spelling or other mistakes please point them out. As you can tell i'm really bad at that sortta stuff. I hope you enjoy this book as much as i'm enjoying writing it! the updates are not going to be consistent and some chapters may be really long while others really short so just bear with me. Mia Out!
Chapter One
3rd POV
It was a good day until HE arrived.
The Potters, James and Lily, were enjoying watching their one year old son, Harry, play with their cat Macy. Harry, the little boy, had the emerald green eyes of his mother but the black, messy hair of his father. He was squishing the poor cat in a smothering hug while giggling. Lily's eyes were filled with joy as she watched her son's look of childlike wonder toward the cat. James was living in the moment, looking between his wife and son with love clear in his eyes. As Harry was finally letting go of the cat a bangging was heard at the front door. James and Lily exchanged worried glances and came to an agreement. It was time.
"I love you." Lily said while James gave her and Harry a quick hug and peck on the cheek.
"It'll be fine." He promised but they both knew it wouldn't.
They heard the door finally give out and knew it was now or never. James grabbed his wand and ran down stairs while Lily took Harry to his room. She then put him in his crib after kissing his forehead lightly where the scar would end up later that night. All Lily heard was her heart beating until she heard James, the love of her life, scream. James' screamed but went silent just as fast as he started. She had silent tears running down her face and she looked at Harry for reassurance she still had a piece of James; for our parents live on in us, they never truly die. She heard his almost silent footsteps descending the steps. She cast a string of spells, one after the other, hoping to stall the inevitable. (I'M SORRY!!!!) It was pointless though; for the dark lord walked through the door as easily as walking through a large piece of paper.
"Please, please- no! Not him! Please take me instead!" Lily pleaded to the cold hearted killer of thousands.
A ghost of a smile appeared on the shell of a man's lips. "Get out of the way, woman." He said calmly, like a snake warning its prey before it attacks.
Lily straightened her back "No." She said calmly, with a glimmer of defiance in her emerald eyes.
The dark lord's smile turned real as he said "Very well." And he flicked his wand wordlessly at the mother sheltering her one and only child. She fell to the ground with a sound that would sound like a sack of potatoes if not for the fact of it being the dead weight of a woman. The dark lord then moved his snake-like eyes to the one year old boy who was looking at his mother with silent tears trailing down his face.
"Hello boy. I do hope you enjoyed your life while it lasted." He then proceeded to flick his wand and a green light filled the room. Then the most percululer thing happened: the green light connected with where the now dead woman's lips had touched moments earlier, and bounced back to the wretched man who had killed the parents of the boy. The man who the people of the wizarding world worshiped like a god or hated like the devil was shocked to say the least as his own spell hit him in the chest. He disintegrated away slowly like how half the universe would years later. Harry finally started wailing, he didn't know what was happening but he could tell it was bad. He cried until Hagrid and Dumbledore came to check on the Potters only to find the youngest crying with a lightning shaped cut on his forehead, and his mother and father dead.
