Next day
You are with Abigail in the theatre room watching a movie while Chris went to get some groceries and a pregnancy test.
After the movie you and Abigail go upstairs to bake something.
"What are we baking ?" Abigail ask.
"Do you want to make cookies ?" You ask her
"Yesss" she screams in excitement.
"What's all This screaming about ?" Chris asks walking in the kitchen. He put the groceries bag on the kitchen counter.
"Daddy" Abigail says running up to him.
"Hi abi" Chris says getting on his knees and hugging her.
"We are baking cookies" she tells Chris.
"What ! Are you guys baking without me" Chris asks Abigail. He was clearly offended.
You smile looking at there little convention
"Can you get my phone for me it's down stairs" Chris asks Abigail.
"Yes I'll be back" she says running out of the kitchen. She quickly turns back and says "don't start with out me".
"We won't" you and Chris say. She runs away.
"Here's the test" Chris hands you the box, kissing your forehead.
"Should i take it now ?" You ask. You felt a knot in your stomach.
"It's up to you" Chris says.
"Here" Abigail gives Chris his phone.
"Thank you" he says.
You whisper to Chris "I'll take the test now".
He nods.
"Abi how about you and me bake while mommy goes to the bathroom" Chris says distracting her, she agrees.
You go up stairs In the bathroom.
You were scared of taking the test because of your dream what if it was real ? What if it would come out negative that would crush you and Chris.
"Stay positive and everything will be fine" you say to yourself as you open the package.
You take a deep breath just like in the dream.
You pee on the test and place it on the bathroom counter, you clean up and take the test with you down stairs where Abigail and Chris were baking.
Chris looks at you he was not nervous at all he was just exited, but clearly saw you were nervous.
"Look mommy" Abigail says cutting shapes in to the dough.
"Good job, keep going" you say to Abigail. You and Chris walk out the kitchen and in to the living room.
"Where is it ?" He ask.
You take it out of your pocket it was flipped over so you guys couldn't see the result
"I'm to nervous to check" you say giving Chris the test.
"Why ?" He asks.
"I don't know I have my reasons" you say.
Chris shakes his head "okay here we go on the count of three 1...2...3" you both count down Chris flips over the test.
"It's positive !" Chris screams in excitement.
"Wait what !" You say, Chris showed you the test you see two dark blue lines.
You jump in to Chris's arms hugging him he lifts you up and spins you in a circle.
"I can't believe it your pregnant" Chris says kissing you.
"What ?" Abigail stands there looking at you two.
"Abi come here we need to tell you something" you Chris says.
You get on you knees and show Abigail the test "look mommy has a baby in her belly" you say to Abigail.
"What really ?" Abigail asks
"Yeah and the baby will grow inside of me" you show Abigail your belly.
"And then you I will get a little baby brother or sister ?" Chris says.
"So I can play tea party ?" Abigail ask
"Yes" you say a small tear falls down your face.
"Are you crying ?" Abigail ask.
She comes closer to you wiping away the tear. You hug her she was so small and gentle, you and Chris saw on her face she was excited you all were excited.
"Come on let's finish baking" Chris says
After baking
You all go on a walk with the dogs.
"No I want to hold her" Abigail says taking the leash from your hand
"Okay be careful don't let go of pepper" you say giving Abigail the leash. Pepper is a very gentle dog, when you came home from the hospital with Abigail, dodger was barking a lot but pepper just looked at Abigail peacefully.
You guys stoped at a park, Chris let the dogs run around while you sat under a tree, looking at them all play.
Abigail was climbing on Chris's leg.
"Hey daddy when will the baby come ?" Abigail asks him.
"After nine months" Chris answers.
"Was I in mommy's belly for nine months ?" Abigail ask you
"No, you were eight months" Chris answers.
"Why ?" Abigail asks
"Because you were so exited to come out and meet me and mommy that you couldn't wait another month so you came out as fast as you could" Chris tells her.
"Hopefully the baby comes out tomorrow so I can play with it" Abigail says not completely understanding the whole pregnancy thing I mean she is only four.
"No we don't want that because the baby is still likes a small seed it will have to grow then you can play with it" Chris try's to explain for her.
"I don't understand" Abigail says
"It's okay one day you will" Chris tells her.
Abigail runs to you while Chris puts the dogs in their leashes again.
"Let's go home" Chris says
You guys get home, you always forget how big the new house actually is.
"Can we watch a movie ?" Abigail ask.
"Sorry abi I have to go to work tomorrow" you say.
Abigail was a bit sad by your answer but still was very understanding "okay" Abigail says walking in her room.
You and Chris kiss her good night and go upstairs to your room and sleep.
