Chapter 5-You better watch your back

                                    

                                          
There will be a small part in this chapter that is in Hunter's POV.

I run around the territory two times when I get to the far side close to Hunter’s pack house I get surrounded by a group from my grandpa’s pack. I cannot dial Hunter’s number because they are circled around me. There are at least ten people and one of them is David. David must be the leader of this circle because he comes forward and everyone gets closer together that way I have no opening.
                          
“So Christel we hear you are mated to Hunter of the Daniels pack.” David said. 
                          
Nodding I say, “Yeah I am. Right now Abby and I am happy and no one is going to change that. Do you hear me David? NO ONE!” 
                          
He walks right up to my face and now I start to get a little scared but I try my best not to show it. “Yes I know you two are mated to them. Though you better make the right choice and reject him then you will come back to the pack house and be my mate. Now do you hear me Christel?” I can hear the hostility in his voice. 
                          
I keep wondering how I can get out of this while looking around at all the heads nodding to what he said my inner wolf says, “Think about Hunter and try calling out for him. I think we are close enough to him that we may be able to talk to him like this.” 
                          
So taking her advice I say, “Hunter?” 
                          
There is silence so I try again, “Hunter?” 
                          
Everyone is quiet and I still do not hear anything so I try one last time since I do not want to us my magic and become weak again and there are too many people. 
                          
Trying my last time, “Hunter? If you can hear me please answer me.”
                          
 I wait a few minutes and when I think there will be no response I hear, “Christel? Is that you?” 
                          
Replying I say, “Hunter I need help. They have me cornered well circled. I need you all but make sure Abby stays there and I protected.”
                          
 After a few minutes he replies, “Where are you Christel?”
                          
 I reply as fast as I can, “At the end of the territory line on your end.” 
                          
Replying instantly I hear, “Ok we will be there soon. Be careful. Abby called your dad also and I think he is on his way to.” I know this will not go good. 
                          
{Hunter’s POV}
                          
I wonder how long she will be out there running. I want to talk to her more to get her better. She how she feels about me being her mate. We really have not had time to sit and talk.
                          
“Hunter?” I hear in her voice. Looking around I do not see her so I think I must be hearing her since I am thinking about her.
                          
Lying back, I start thinking about her. Everything from her shoulder length wavy brown hair, her dark brown eyes, her pink lips, her figure….
                          
“Hunter?” Looking around I still do not see her.
                          
“Jared has Christel came back yet?” I mind link him.
                          
“No she has not? Why man?” He replies.
                          
“Nothing I just thought I heard her.” I say to him
                          
“Ok man. You must have it bad.” He laughs through his link.
                          
I walk over to the computer to work on some pack things. I pick up the first piece of paper m my dad gave me after today’s meeting. When I am about to read it I hear Christel’s voice again but this time I am worried.
