Sage POV 
A few days later 
I woke up and looked over not seeing Mekai. I forced myself out the bed since I slept till 1. I walked to the bathroom but the door was locked and the lights were on. 
"Bubba open the door." I yawned twisting the lock. 
"Shit." I heard him groaning and my blood started boiling. I took one of the hairpins off the dresser and picked at the lock expecting to see him jerking off or some shit but he was on the ground. 
"Baby hell wrong with you?" I asked bending on the floor with him. 
"I can't eat anything without throwing the bitch up." He sighed and slowly got up. 
"And couldn't sleep all night cause I kept having to piss." He added brushing his teeth. 
"Do you think-" I got cut off when he threw up in the sink. 
"Awl baby." I pouted rubbing his back. 
"Go lay down and take this." I added handing him the trash can. 
After cleaning out the sink and pretty much the whole bathroom since I can't stand germs, I went back in the room and saw him still throwing up with some chips next to him.
"Bubba I'm taking you to the hospital something isn't right." I said throwing some sweats on and a tee shirt. 
"Hell nah bruh it's just a stomach bug I'm good." He said before sitting up. 
"Baby you throwing up everything you eat! This ain't normal." I replied grabbing one of his Nike outfits and getting him dressed.
"I'm hungry as a bitch." He chuckled as I drove to the hospital.
"Well once they see what's wrong with you then you can eat again." I shrugged pulling in a parking spot. 
"Come on." I added getting out and grabbing his hand. 
"I really don't need to be here." He laughed running his fingers through his hair. 
Once we got into one of the rooms we were waiting on the doctor. 
"What you nervous for?" He asked pointing at my tapping foot. 
"Cause I don't want anything to be wrong with you." I pouted rubbing my leg. 
"Ain't nothing wrong with me mama."  
"Hello I'm Dr. Landon." She smiled coming in with a clipboard. 
"So what's the issue?" Me and Mekai looked at each other but he gave me a very specific look. I knew he didn't like talking to new people but damn. I rolled my eyes and turned to face the doctor. 
"Well I woke up and saw him on the floor in the bathroom and he keeps throwing up whatever he eats so I assume it's a stomach bug." I explained as she typed whatever in her computer. 
"And I had to piss all night." He added and I rolled my eyes trying not to laugh. 
"Well I'm gonna ask you to pee in this cup and leave it in the little door on the wall. And I'm gonna ask you to do the same." She explained handing us both a cup. I furrowed my eyebrows and walked out the room with bubba. 
"Oh shit she gave you one too?" He asked bout to go in the men's bathroom. 
"Yeah I'm confused but whatever." I shrugged going in the women's. Once I finished up and washed my hands I went back in the room with Mekai. 
After about 10 minutes she came back with a smile as someone else brought a ultrasound machine in. 
"Well.. Mr. Brown I'm 100% sure you're not sick.." she started as I raised my eyebrow. 
"But you ma'am are in fact pregnant. Congrats!" She smiled and my heart stopped.
"Wait huh?" He asked furrowing his eyebrows. 
"I think you ended up getting her pregnancy symptoms." She explained and I just got even more confused. 
"So instead of me having morning sickness.." 
"He did." She laughed nodding. 
"I had a feeling that's what it was but damn." He chuckled. 
"Well I guess that makes sense." I smiled but instantly it dropped. 
"Wait if I just had a miscarriage like.. a little over a month ago is it even a good idea to be pregnant?" I asked tapping my foot. Bubba grabbed my hand and kissed it, giving me butterflies. 
"Depends why you had a miscarriage. If it was stress related then it's easily avoidable, but if it was a health issue then we would have to address it."
"It was definitely stress." I nodded. 
"If you guys could switch spots we can do an ultrasound to check up on everything. " She said as Mekai jumped off the table and I laid back pulling my shirt up. 
She put the gel on and I wanted to cry cause I didn't wanna lose my baby again. It just didn't seem real. 
"And here he or she is." She smiled pointing at a little dot on the screen. I pouted as a tear fell down my face. Something was telling me that it was a boy I just didn't know what. 
"When can we find out the gender?" He asked wiping my eye. 
"In about 11 weeks. A very long time but the earliest is in around 9. I'm not sure if that would be accurate." 
"Ight umm.. what food she don't need to eat?" He asked and I smiled to myself cause he was so excited. 
"Anything spicy, no raw fish or anything with high mercury. I'll give you guys a whole packet for that. Once again congrats." She smiled handing me a little booklet. 
"You really meant that huh." He laughed and I rolled my eyes wiping my stomach off and getting up. 
Once we got in the car I kept reading over this. It's so crazy how I got pregnant after one time. 
"Huh?" He asked snapping me out my thoughts. 
"I said whatchu wanna eat." He laughed. 
"Umm.. Waffle House." I nodded. 
"Alright." He nodded.

"Yes Ashley. I'm pregnant but I'm so scared." I pouted sitting my phone up.
"There's nothing to be scared about bestie! Just make sure you keep yourself healthy and boom, 8 months later you changing diapers at 3 in the morning." She laughed. I rolled my eyes and laughed hearing the bathroom door close.
"I feel so bad for bubba." I sighed hearing the toilet flush. 
"For what? Knocking you up? Cause I can beat his ass for you." She said in all seriousness.
"No it's weird. Instead of me having the symptoms he is. But it's so funny watching him piss every 20 minutes." I giggled. 
"Girl that should happen to all niggas." She laughed putting her phone down. 
"I know. Nothing like my last pregnancy I couldn't eat shit." 
"You know what we should do?" She asked with her eyes wide. 
"What?"
"We need to go on a vacation. Like the whole friend group besides them 2 uglies." She laughed. I rolled my eyes and thought about places to go. 
"Sounds like a good idea, but I'm gonna be real pregnant by the time we able to go." I sighed thinking about my stomach. I didn't want people to know yet. Or at all. 
"You only gonna be like 4 months. You won't show yet." She shrugged and u nodded. 
"Mama come here real fast." Mekai called out from downstairs.
"I gotta go, love you bitch." I said getting up. 
"Love you too." She said hanging up.
