"Brooklyn," a soft voice coo's into Brooklyn's ears. She had been asleep, and normally wouldn't wake up for at least another hour and a half after being in the gym at two in the morning.

The poor girl had trouble sleeping after her thoughts the night before. Tyson's surprise had just confused her more than anything—and Renee's proposition was making it worse.

Brooklyn really missed some of her WWE friends.

"Brooklyn," the voice sounded again, causing Brooklyn to finally open her eyes to reveal Brandi. She smiled happily towards her younger friend and patted her hand. "Happy birthday, girly."

Brooklyn smiled, confused. "Good morning to you, too," she replied.

The two laughed as Brandi stood up. "Get ready," she simply stated. "We're going shopping today."

"What?" Brooklyn had asked, still confused and not fully woken up. "It's 7 in the morning."

Brandi pulled out a gift for her blonde friend and placed it on the bed. "Yes, and we have a lot of shopping to do."

"For what?" she whined, rubbing her eyes.

"For your party tonight, duh," a new voice spoke, though Brooklyn hadn't seen who yet.

In a flash, blonde locks walked into the room. Brooklyn smiled as she got up to hug Renee, ecstatic to see her again and maybe talk to her more about WWE and her Tyson problem.

Brandi tried not to take it to heart when she saw how happy Brooklyn was to see Renee. She knew the two rarely saw one another anymore which is why she had gotten her here, but Brandi also knew that Brooklyn couldn't be controlled. Sure, her time with AEW has just started, but it might not last as long as they had hoped it would.

Brooklyn was young, and as much as they might want to protect her from the WWE, they had no control over that. She made up her own mind.

Brandi just wanted Brooklyn to be happy, and as of late, Tyson had been realizing that she wasn't, even though the young girl had just started in the business. He had come to the Runnels family for help, knowing that they had known her the longest of their friend group.

Tyson desperately did not want to approach Chris, knowing first hand how mad it would've made Brooke and also wanting to believe she could make her own decisions.

He had stopped viewing Brooke as a child when her mother had died. Though it was the hardest time in her life, Brooklyn was strong for all the people around her. She may pretend to shut her heart off, but he knew that she only saved it for the ones she loved.

"I missed you," Brooklyn said to Renee, before looking at Brandi. "You set this up?"

Brandi smirked, shrugging. "I'm Brandi Rhodes, bitch."
