Chapter-4

                                    

                                          
The time travelers along with Hermione and Ron walked into the great hall and sat down at the Gryffindor table. Neville was sitting next to Hannah. 
They all sat near Luna, who was sitting there waiting for them. After the battle, students sat at whichever table was empty and no one really cared about which house they were in. 
Hermione and Ron greeted Luna before introducing her to the time travelers. 
They all became friends really quickly and were chatting about all sorts of things. 
After a few minutes, Neville walked upto them. He sat across to Luna and next to Hermione & Ron. Neville greeted all of them before taking a seat next to Luna and across Ron & Hermione. 
"Someone looks an awful lot closer with a particular hufflepuff" Ron said teasingly. 
"I dunno what you're talking about, me and Hannah are just friends" Neville replied, a little caught off guard. 
"Well, he never said who" Hermione said joining in. Luna also decided to join in and said, "he never said you were more than friends either" 
"Oh, shut up all of you!" Neville said and all three of them burst out laughing while Neville blushed. The four just kept talking. 
Meanwhile, the time travelers were talking about Harry quietly amongst themselves. 
"I still cannot believe how much he looked like you!" Sirius exclaimed quietly. "I know, and both of them- Ginny, wasn't it?- look so much like you both" Remus said. Lily and James nodded. 
"It's a good thing we changed our appearances, or else we would've been caught already" Lily said. James, once again, just nodded this time along with Remus and Sirius. 
"James, are you alright? It's not like you to be this quiet.." Remus asked. 
"Ya, I guess it's just a lot to process that I have a son who looks almost exactly like me and is the same age as me and also has a girlfriend that looks so much like mine." The three time travelers just nodded. 
And as if on cue, Harry and Ginny walked in the Great Hall holding hands. They came and took a seat right across from Ron and Hermione, which happened to be next to James and Lily. 
"Why didn't you wake us up?" Harry asked Ron and Hermione. 
Ron just shrugged and said, "Thought you could you use some sleep" 
They then seemed to notice the time travelers and Harry said, "Hi, I haven't seen you guys around, are you new here?" 
"Ya, we are transfer students from Ilvermorny" Lily answered for them. 
"Really? I wouldn't have been able to tell by your accent" Harry said surprised. 
Lily looked at the others nervously, and was about to answer when Sirius said, "We grew up here, but we had to move to America about 7 years ago when we were 10." James, Lily and Remus just nodded, knowing that was good enough for now. 
"That's cool, I don't think we ever had transfer students before" Ginny said, looking between confused and impressed. 
Remus mistook it for suspicion and said, "we came to research about Hogwarts and the Wizarding World here." a little too quickly, which made Hermione even more suspicious about them. 
"But didn't you guys grow up here?" She asked, one of her eyebrows raised. 
"Yes, but w-we wanted to learn about the history here.." James said, trying to sound convincing. 
Hermione just nodded but anyone could tell that she was suspicious of them, especially Harry, Ron, Ginny, Neville, and Luna. They all just looked at each other, confused. 
"Oh, my bad, I didn't even introduce myself." Ginny said, realization hitting her. 
"I am Ginny Weasley, and this is my boyfriend, the one and only Harry Potter." She said, doing jazz hands as she introduced Harry. Harry just rolled his eyes and hit her on her head. 
"Hey! Only I get to do that to you" she said while rubbing her head. Harry stuck his tongue out at her and just smiled before turning towards the time travelers. 
They were just staring at the couple in awe. "Sorry about her" Harry said. Now it was Ginny who rolled her eyes. "Now back to the introduction-" 
Just as they were about to continue, Mcgonagall stood up at the front table to give her speech. 
"Hello everyone! It's good to see everyone doing well. As we all know, today is Halloween.." she paused for a moment, and the time travelers noticed how some heads around the hall turned towards Harry. They also seemed to noticed how Ginny held Harry's hand and moved closer to him. The four just shrugged. "and.. a lot has changed over the past year. We've been living in fear of what is going to happen just an year ago, but now, it's time to celebrate. To celebrate the end of the war, to celebrate our brighter future, to celebrate the war hero's, to celebrate us, and to celebrate Hogwarts." She ended with a smile. 
Many were looking at her with smiles on their faces. 
Everyone stood up and started clapping.
"Now, before we began the feast, I would like to introduce everyone to our new transfer students" She said gesturing to the Gryffindor table where the time travelers were sitting.
"John Parker, Lexi Elliot, Sam Barnes and Russel Lane. They are our transfer students for a few months and they have already been sorted into Gryffindor." Getting a few applause from around the hall. 
"They are from Ilvermorny, but they did grow up here for most of their lives. They came to Hogwarts for research purposes and will be staying here for a few months. Make sure to make them feel welcomed." She smiled at them, before saying, "Now you may all begin eating." And she sat down. 
Many people came and introduced themselves to the time travelers. They were friendly with everyone and they were all good looking. So, everyone seemed to like them. 
Just as the feast was about to end, Mcgongall came upto them and said, "I hope you are finding everything fine so far." After getting nods from the time travelers, she continued, "Well, if you need any help I am sure our head boy and girl would be happy to help" 
Harry and Ginny, who were sitting right there said, "Of course! You can come to us about anything." Mcgongall gave them a smile and walked away. 
"You're head boy and head girl?" Sirius exclaimed, after Mcgongall left. 
"Well, I would think so, seeing as we have these badges." Ginny said, while Harry pretended to straighten his badge. 
Suddenly, realization hit the time travelers and they looked to make sure James and Lily didn't have their badges. It must have fallen off as they didn't have them anymore. They all mentally sighed, before turning back to the others. 
The six just looked confused but before they could question it, James just dismissed it saying, "It was nothing. Don't worry about it." 
They just brushed it off and all of them went back to the Gryffindor common room, except Luna who left for her common room. They all chatted there for a bit.
"Did Mcgongall say when she will give you guys your schedule?" Ron asked. 
"Oh, I can't believe I completely forgot to ask her about that!" Lily exclaimed. 
"It's alright, lil- lexi..." James said, almost slipping up. Everyone raised an eyebrow at James. 
"What? I- call her that sometimes..." James said. "Lil' Lexi? Really?" Sirius said, he knew James was about to say Lily. But still, couldn't he come with a better excuse? 
"You couldn't have come up with a better nickname?" Remus said, also knowing why but still confused. 
"I think it's pretty good, since she is kinda small" Lily glared at him and said, "I am not small" while hitting him with a book sitting on the table. 
"Ow, that's why I said kinda- lex, ow, stop it" 
The others were just watching them while laughing. 
They kept talking for some more time. Then one by one, Hermione, Ron, Neville went to their dorms calling it for the night. Then, Harry and Ginny also left to their head boy and head girl dorms. Leaving the time travelers alone.
