Sage POV I didn't feel like doing that whole scene sooo. Few weeks later..
I woke up and looked over about to wake Mekai up but he wasn't there. I yawned before getting up and walking in the bathroom. I washed my face, brushed my teeth and took a shower before going into the guest room to get dressed.
I put on a oversized black tee shirt since my stomach was starting to grow, not that much though. I threw on some jeans with my black nikes. Once I went downstairs, I saw Anita going through some mail in the kitchen. "Good morning, I thought you would be at work by now." I smiled grabbing a water bottle since I couldn't eat in the mornings anymore without throwing it up.
"I took off since your first appointment was today. Aren't you excited? I'm gonna have my second grandbaby!" She smiled hugging me. I smiled and hugged her back but was confused as hell. "Yeah I am but it's just.. I thought you would've been mad about it." I said nervously laughing. "At first I was but I realized I can't be upset forever. I already love little big head." She said walking into the living room.
"Well thank you but I'm gonna be late, I'll see you later." I smiled about to walk out the door. "Mekai isn't gonna be able to drive you, you can drive right?" She asked going in her purse. "Yeah I have my license." I nodded as she handed me her keys. "Don't crash please, have a good day." She smiled as I walked out.
Once I drove to school, I grabbed my phone and made my way to the cafeteria to meet up with everyone like normal. I tried to open the door but it was locked. "The hell?" I asked myself looking in the window seeing it was empty. I twisted my lips and walked down to the auditorium assuming there was a change in plans or something.
"Oh Sage!" Some girl said handing me a rose. "Umm.. thanks?" I gave a confused look as I kept walking. A few more people gave me roses and soon I had a handful. "What the fuck is going on." I mumbled about to go in the auditorium. "Sage!" Ash called out from across the hall. I squinted my eyes and went over to her as she quickly put her phone up. "Did I miss something?" I asked looking around.
"Huh? Girl anyway come on, we gonna be late." She said pulling me down a random hallway. "First of all, we don't even have classes on the Junior hall and second it's not even 10." I laughed as everything went dark. "WHAT THE FUCK!" I yelled dropping everything and trying to pull whatever was on my face off. "Chill out." I heard Miko laugh putting the roses back in my hand.
"Y'all are trying to kill me." I said as we stopped walking. "On 3." Ash said. A bunch of people started counting down and on 3 Milo pulled the blindfold off me.

"Aww bubba." I pouted looking at him holding another bouquet of flowers in his hands. "Yes or no girl!" Aliyah laughed as I just stared at everything. I smiled and nodded before hugging him and jumping up on him. "Aww!" Everyone coo'd. "I love you mama." He smiled kissing my lips. "I love you too baby." I smiled jumping down and rubbing my back.
"Don't we got 1st period together today?" He asked as the bell rung and everyone went to class. "Yeah but we have a-" I started but got cut off by feeling myself about to throw up. I quickly handed him the roses and went across the hallway to the bathroom. "Ugh." I groaned and went out of the stall to rinse my mouth out. "Tea." I heard Chantel snicker before the door shut. I rolled my eyes and walked out of the bathroom putting some gum in my mouth.
"You okay mama?" Mekai asked grabbing my hand and going back into the classroom. "Yeah just some you know what." I nodded as we sat in the back of the class. "Here come this nigga." Mekai groaned as I looked at the door and saw Drake coming in with some flowers and a Dunkin' Donuts bag.
"What in the hell.." I mumbled to myself as he side eyed Mekai and smiled at me. "Can I talk to you in the hall?" He asked and I glanced over at Mekai who looked visibly angry. I didn't wanna be rude so I nodded slowly getting up. Once we got out in the hallway he handed me the flowers before he opened up the box.
I read it already knowing what he was gonna ask me.

I was gonna say yes just because of the donuts. "I'm sorry but um.. Mekai already asked me." I awkwardly said pulling my fingers. He looked down at my hand and his smile dropped. "Oh so y'all seriously engaged?" He scoffed closing the box and grabbing the roses from me. "What? N-no! It's just a-" "Yeah we are now back the fuck up from my wife nigga." Mekai said walking in front of me.
Drake dropped everything and swung at Mekai and pretty soon Mekai had him on the ground. "Bitch what the hell?" Ash and Kamia said helping me pull them apart. "MEKAI GET UP! HES BLEEDING!" I yelled pulling the back of his hoodie as he snatched away from me. "FUCK YOU BEING FRIENDLY TO ALL THESE NIGGAS FOR?" He yelled standing over me. I blinked my eyes trying to stop myself from crying as the school nurse helped Drake to the office. I just wanted the day to be over.
End of the day..
I pulled up to Mekais house and got out of the car, glancing at my phone to make sure I wasn't late. I quickly went up to the door and used Anitas key to open it and got hit with the sound of yelling. "THIS SHIT IS GOING ON YOUR RECORD MEKAI!" I heard Anita yell from upstairs. I sighed and put her keys on the counter before going upstairs. "It's only one fucking fight." He groaned running his fingers through his hair. Instant waterfalls. Not the time Sage.
"And this one fight is gonna ruin your chances of even going to college! She said crossing her arms. "Bruh you always fucking doubting me." He chuckled before I heard a door slam. "Umm.. I'm sorry about interrupting." I nervously smiled before softly knocking on his door. "Do you need me to drive you? I doubt he's gonna wanna go now." She said standing at the stairs. "I'm going. Come in mama." He said opening the door and pulling me in.
I closed it back and sat on the bed as he smoked a blunt. "What time is it right now?" He asked turning towards me. "4:27 and it's at 5:00." I said tapping my foot. "Alright." He simply nodded.
