The world around you disappeared.

As the new world around you started to become clear, you found yourself outside a golden castle.

You looked up in awe. "Loki! Are we?" You asked.

Loki smiled. "In Asgard? Yes. Yes we are!" Loki said.

"Oh! And we should probably do something about this appearance." Loki said.

He used his magic and changed your outfit.

You wore a long black and green dress.

Green and black heeled boots that were lined with gold.

Your long brunette hair was curled. Loki handed you a golden dagger. You looked down at it.

"What's this for?" You asked.

Loki smiled. "Just a little gift." Loki said.

You followed Loki to the castle.

"Now, Odin may not be to pleased to see a midgardian here. We aren't exactly supposed to bring them here." Loki said.

You looked at Loki worried.

"Wait, what exaclty are we doing here again?" You asked.

"Protecting you. Thor would've brought us here to do the same." Loki said.

You nodded.

You entered the castle and followed Loki down a hall.

"Loki? What are you doing here? Shouldn't you be on Earth with your brother?" A female voice said.

You turned around.

"Loki! You brought a midgardian?" The woman said.

Loki turned around. "Yes mother. I did. It was to protect her. If I may-" Loki's mother put a finger to her mouth.

"Come with me. I'll take you to father and you can talk to him and I about the reasoning for you two being here." Loki's mother said.

She looked at you. "I'm Frigga. And you are my dear?" Loki's mother asked you.

"Uhh, I'm _________. Pleasure to meet you." You said politely.

Frigga smiled.

She led you and Loki to a big room. Loki hung his head low.

You looked at him confused. "You good?" You asked.

"I'm not to overly fond of the man on the throne." Loki said.

You looked at the throne.

"Loki Laufeyson. You have brought a midgardian to our home. _________
Stark. Why did you bring her?" The man said.

"To protect her." Loki said looking at the man.

"Odin, he may have a good reasoning for it." Frigga said.

Odin. As in Thor Odinson? You thought.

"Father may I explain at supper? It would be easiest to do so there. She has had a really long past few days. May I take her to my chambers to rest?" Loki asked.

You looked at him then back at Odin.

Odin sighed. "Very well my son." Odin said.

Loki smiled. "Thank you father." Loki said.

Once you got to Loki's chambers, he handed you a blanket. It was black and fuzzy.

"Thanks Loki. You really aren't as bad as I thought you were." You said.

Loki sat on his bed.

"Thanks _________. Come, lie down. Sleep somewhere other than the cold rock floor." Loki said.

You giggled.

You sat down next to Loki.

"So, what made you fall in love with the tesseract?" You asked.

Loki sighed. He shook his head. "Power." He said. "You know, all my life, I was lied to. It is indeed true. I was born to be king. Not of Asgard though. You've heard that I was adopted. That is simply false. It's more like, abducted."

You looked at Loki with an eyebrow raised. "What do you mean? Odin kidnapped you?" You asked.

Loki sighed and smiled. "Pretty much. He said that when he was fighting my father, he found me. A poor little blue boy found on the ice, freezing. Anyway, yes, he did take me from my home. He raised me here. However, I was raised in a shadow. My brother's. I felt unheard, unloved, and unwanted. There were multiple times I did act out just to be seen and noticed. I mever liked the punishments, but it was the attention I did like. I knew that the tesseract was a source of great power. Ruling was equal to that. I figured, get the tesseract, get the throne. Get the throne with the tesseract in my hands, the world would finally notice me." Loki said.

You put you hand on his shoulder.

"So, your just misunderstood." You said.

Loki smiled. "I'm glad someone thinks of me that way." Loki said. "Not a monster."

"Loki, you are anything but a monster. I mean have you seen Hulk?" You said.

Loki laughed.

He stood up. "Get some rest _________. I'll be back in a little. I'm probably not welcome in here. Father would probably best prefer me sleeping in the dungeons. At least mother gives me a bed." Loki said laughing.

"I don't think I could sleep without someone next to me." You said.

Loki looked at you. "What do you mean?" He asked.

You smiled. "Loki, you know what I mean." You said. You waved him over to his bed. "Besides, I think that would be a little rude of me to sleep in your bed without you in it." You finished.

Loki smiled and joined you in bed. You held each other close and drifted into a deep sleep.
