No one woke up early that day, we were all exhausted from the day before which meant I had no one barging into my room (aka Sirius and James.) I rubbed my eyes and turned around to face Reg who was asleep still holding me protectively in his arms. Even asleep his face was so impossibly perfect.

"Are you watching me sleep?" He mumbled not opening his eyes yet, there was a small smile on his face.

"No, I'm gazing. There's a differnce." I grinned.

"It's creepy." He teased me, his morning voice raspy.

"It's romantic." I chuckled. He laughed a little and pulled me closer to him.

"We don't have to get up do we?" He mumbled, his face hidden in my neck and I played with his floppy hair. "Do you have to attend Latin lessons or anything?"

I chuckled softly. Latin lessons, as if. "Not at all, we can stay like this all day if we want to."

He traced his fingers down the line of hickeys he had left on my neck. "You're so pretty y/n." He told me honestly.

I smiled and kissed his head "I'm glad you moved in, you know I was scared you'd never be able to get out." I laid my head on his chest and he ran his fingers gently through my hair.

"I'm glad your parents don't hate me." He laughed.

"I told you they wouldn't. Unless you forgot to cast a silencing charm." I grinned playfully.

"And that is my worst nightmare." He laughed.

"Do you think your Mum will find you?" I asked him quietly. I wanted him to stay here with me, not in that horrible house where he would be forced to be a death eater.

"I sure hope not." He sighed. "I don't think she'll suspect I'm here, as far as she's concerned I hate you."

"I won't let you go away that easy." I chuckled, I wanted to be with him forever. Maybe true love wasn't bollocks. Maybe he was the one. "Ugh you've made me go all soft. James is the lovesick puppy not me!"

"Just admit it." He grinned "I'm irrisistable."

"Irritable sounds more like it." I teased him and he laughed.

He smiled fondly and shook his head "You never change, I like it."

"What do you mean?" I asked curiously as I took his ring off his finger and tried it on, it was too big and I twirled it around my finger like a tiny hoola hoop.

"When we first met, you pretended you didn't know who I was just to annoy me, then you acted like I was just some random guy you had to put up with, then I knew you were into me because you're so damn obvious-"

"I am not obvious!" I protested.

"You are." He grinned and kissed my head. "And then you rejected me after kissing me at that party, and rejected me again. Now as I'm in your bed after almost a year of dating you, you tell me I'm annoying. You're perfect."

"Well I could be super nice like Diana. Reggieeee pick me!" I made my voice more high pitched to mimic her.

Reg laughed "Don't worry darling you always come first." He hated Reggie. It was okay from Sirius and I sometimes, but I knew anyone else made his skin crawl.

"I'm not worried." I said stubbornly even though ever time I saw Diana get all close to him I burned with jealously.

"Good, you've got no reason to be. Diana can't compete where she doesn't compare." He grinned and kissed me gently. I kissed him back and pulled him in again for another one.
