yeonjun lets out a light gasp when his eyes land on the sky, the wind blowing through his skin-down it, the millions of stars twinkling upwards, lighting up his pupils. 
he feels as if he could just reach up and grab them, just barely swipe a finger across the glitter maybe, as if they were only inches away from his touch. 
"soobin.." yeonjun mutters in awe, still processing the beautiful view as the younger just grins at his reaction, pulling him closer towards the hospital's edge. 
and that's when the city of seoul comes into view. ah yes, the beautiful city yeonjun had always dreamed of living in ever since he was young. 
he stares in awe, a small smile creeping onto his lips as he finds himself leaning on the edge of the roof, elbows scraping against the cold concrete of the ledge, but he doesn't care. 
all he cares about is the view-the feeling up here. he swears he is floating, the cool wind blowing through his skin, coating his body in goosebumps. 
he looks over at soobin, blushing to himself when he feels the other's arm still wrapped around the small of his back, fingertips resting just at his hipbone. 
he watches soobin, admiring the dimples that pop out on each corner of his mouth, bunny teeth popping out cutely, light blue hair blowing in the wind, the bright lights of the city definitely not as bright as the boy next to him. 
when soobin glances over, yeonjun darts his head away, looking up at the sky as if he had been doing nothing at all. 
soobin chuckles, looking forward again. 
yeonjun clears his throat, bringing a shaky hand up to point at the sky, "what star is that?" he asks the younger, a light- white star burning holes into his vision, looking as if glitter were coating its edges as he admires the shine. 
soobin grins, giving the older a glance before speaking, "it's a beautiful star," he states the obvious, yeonjun turning his head, "it's rosy, it's bright, it's intriguing. it does this thing when it's nervous, it turns a tint of red—"
yeonjun gulps, suddenly feeling as if the boy weren't talking about a star anymore. 
"—the star is funny, it tells jokes all the time. it tells stories too, interesting ones—ones that have me on the edge of my seat every time they're told. the star looks down when they get flustered, scared if they made eye contact with the cause of the action—they'd grow further infatuated," soobin licks his bottom lip, sighing, "that star—the one you pointed at— is special. means everything to me, to others out there too, i know it,"
yeonjun didn't even feel the tears brimming in his eyes until he noticed his vision blur, his lips turning outwards as he bites on his bottom one, hoping to drown out an silent cry. 
"what's it called?" yeonjun chokes out, shrugging his shoulders. 
soobin smiles. 
"choi yeonjun"
yeonjun smiles, a tear escaping his eye as his gaze falls to the ground- that familiar tint of pink arising on his cheeks' skin. 
"you're a real romantic aren't you?" yeonjun scoffs, rolling his eyes as he brings his sleeve up, wiping under his eyes. 
soobin shrugs, "i like to think that-" 
soobin's cut off by a pair of lips, eyes widened as they immediately flutter shut. the warm touch of yeonjun's lips on his own send him into a spiral, his hands rested on the small of the older's back, one raising to cup the side of his cheek, fingertips grazing his jawline as he deepens their kiss. 
it feels like he's on cloud nine. 
the sudden rush of the pair of lips that had slammed on his had knocked all his senses out the door. his heart had come to a stop as soon as he felt yeonjun kiss him, his mouth like medicine to an aching wound. 
yeonjun pulls away all too soon, chuckling at soobin's whine as he leans their foreheads together, dark hair falling in front of his eyes, tickling soobin's nose. 
"i like you" soobin speaks up, "a lot,"
yeonjun cracks a smile, his heart exploding with emotions he'd never even lived long enough to feel. 
"i like you too," the older smiles, eyes wet. he leans over, pressing a peck to the blue haired's lips, feeling giddy at the hum soobin lets out, "you dumb blueberry"
