"So what did you learn today?" Ren asked, sitting crossed legged on the floor as his friend fell face first on the bed. "I saw you and Akabane leave school together"
                          
"AHHHHH!" Gakushū screamed in his pillow. "Akabane took me to this rundown bar on the other side of town"
                          
"It's a date" Ren thought, hiding his smirk with a book. "Oh, did he? And what of it? Did he force you to partake in illegal activities such as underage drinking?" This, coming from the boy who threw a house party and inadvertently food poisoned half his guests while the other half got high and drunk. 
                          
Gakushū rolled to his side as he thought his day with Akabane. "N-no..I mean.."
                          
"He stuttered, he's feeling bashful" Ren thought to himself. "Well?" He pressed gently, masking his eagerness as casual curiosity. 
                          
"He ordered root beer, and suggested we play never have I ever" Gakushū went on.

"You know how this works right?" The red head pressed a hand on his cheek. "If you've done it, you drink, if you haven't, you don't. Pretty simple" 
                          
"Alright, I'll go first" Gakushū played with the bottle in his hand. "Never have I ever failed a test before" he smirked at Akabane. 
                          
The red head rolled his eyes. "Booo, you're so boring Asano-kun" 
                          
"Shut up! So have you or not?" Gakushū crossed his arms. 
                          
"Never" Karma stuck out his tongue. "My turn. Never have I ever hurt an innocent animal before" 
                          
Gakushū hesitated, before raising the bottle of root beer to his lips, and drinking. Karma's eyes widened and he grinned at the boy. "Eh? Asano-kun I shouldn't be surprised really. I mean you did plan those unnecessary revenge schemes on E-class just because we were rising up-"
                          
"Shut up! And I was seven when it happened. I didn't even mean it" Gakushū muttered. "What did you do Asano-kun?" Karma eagerly leaned close to the strawberry blonde. 
                          
"I was throwing rocks on a whim, and I hit a puppy's head" 
                          
"That's sick" Karma enjoyed watching Asano squirm. "It was an accident!" Gakushū pushed the other bottles to Karma. "Never have I ever thrown a tantrum just to get my parents' attention!"
                          
Karma drank. "They were being noisy with all the fighting I wanted them to shut up" the red head shrugged. "Asano-kun, never have I ever been jealous of a photograph of the former student of my father"
                          
Gakushū rolled his eyes and drank his root beer. "That boy has been dead for years and he still hasn't--wait how did you know tha-"
                          
"Oh really? It's true then" Karma placed his arm around Gakushū, and pulling the boy into his frame, causing Gakushū to blush at the close contact(only because he was uncomfortable) "That's so sad" 
                          
"Never have I ever stolen money from my dad's wallet!"
                          
Karma drank. "Never have I ever mistaken Nagisa as a girl"
                          
"You can't blame me! Everyone assumed the same!" Gakushū defended, drinking his root beer dejectedly. "Never have I ever stolen someone else's girl"
                          
"I'm not a homewrecker Asano-kun, and what makes you think I'm into girls?" 
                          
And the two continued until they only had one sip left for each. 
                          
"Hmm, never have I ever" Karma trailed. "Turned my feelings of hate into feelings of love, for anyone" 
                          
"Not me" Gakushū muttered. "Who has times for those? And feelings just hold you back from reaching your goals"
                          
"You're like a robot sometimes" he heard Karma mutter. 
                          
"Never have I ever kissed..." Gakushū trailed. "Anyone?" 
                          
Karma didn't drink

"Someone's forming a crush" Ren thought as he stopped himself from smirking. "Sounds like you had fun"
                          
"It was okay" Gakushū admitted. "Karma's not such a bad guy after all-"
                          
"He didn't even notice he used Akabane's first name! Wait...have they been using each other's first names and without realizing it?! Oh this is good" 
                          
"Oi, Ren. What are you smiling about?" Gakushū narrowed his eyes at the brunette. 
                          
"Oh, nothing...I'm just, amused about something" Ren innocently smiled at his friend, who thought nothing of it.
