I closed my locker and walked down to Sage hallway with her. "So you stayed up all night doing what?" She laughed. "Playin 2k and smoking." I yawned and stopped at her classroom door. "A mess." She smiled. I hated how she could give a nigga butterflies just by smiling.
"Sorry." The same bitch from yesterday laughed knocking everything out of her hands. I mugged her and picked all her stuff up handing it back to her. "Can you just leave me alone Chantel? I didn't even do shit to you." She said pulling her hood up. "It's not my fault you dark and ugly." She shrugged.
"Ion put my hands on females but keep the slick shit to yo self, cause she way better looking than yo insecure bitter ass. Fuck away from her." I spat standing in front of Sage. "Whatever." She stomped off. "You ight ma?" I asked looking at her quickly wipe her eyes. "Come here." I said pulling her to the bathroom and sitting her on the counter.
"You too pretty to be crying over ugly hoes." I chuckled wiping her eyes. "I guess." She mumbled. "You beautiful ok mama?" I said taking her hood off and attempting to fix her hair. "Thanks bubba." She smiled. I kissed her forehead before walking her back to class.
Sage POV After school
I walked into my house not seeing anybody in the living room, which was weird cause my mom got off already. I went upstairs and saw her in my room packing my stuff up for some reason. "Mom what are you doing?"I asked looking at all the boxes. "You're getting out of my house." She said not even looking at me. "What?" I said genuinely confused.
"You're a sick little bitch you know that? Who comes onto their father and tries to have sex with him?" She scoffed throwing the boxes in the hallway. "I-I didn't! He did it t-to me!" I explained feeling a tear fall down my face. "Don't you dare try and put the blame on him. Find somewhere to stay, get out." She said pushing past me and walking into her room. I just stood there looking at my empty room and all the boxes in the hall.
I picked up my phone and sat on my bed. I started crying my eyes out and called bubba. "Was- what's wrong ma?" He asked. "Bubba I got k-kicked out and I don't have anywhere to go." I cried rubbing my arm. "Ight I'm on the way, yo stuff packed?" I nodded and I heard his keys moving before seeing him go outside.

"Why do they h-hate me I-" I started before crying harder and hyperventilating. "Ma look at me." He said and I looked at the screen still shaking. "Focus on yo breathing for me mama, I'm almost there." "I c-can't." I cried putting my hand on my chest feeling my heart pounding. "Sage you gon be okay, I'm not gon leave you with nowhere to go, I gotchu mama. " He said looking down at his phone and back at the road but I was still panicking.
"Shit um, tell me yo least favorite teacher." "Probably Mrs. G-green." I said wiping my eyes. "Ight why she yo least favorite? Cause ion like the bitch either." He laughed. "She's way too strict and never gives me the grade I know I earned. Like this bitch gave me a c cause my essay was over the word count but it was literally my name." I laughed a little and tried to slow my breathing down.
"I cant stand her bitch ass, but you think you can come open the door for me mama? You stopped shaking?" He asked getting out his car. I nodded and walked downstairs opening the door. As soon as I saw his face I hugged him tightly and felt him kiss my forehead. "You okay ma, calm down." He said rubbing my back. He smelled like some expensive ass vanilla shit and I loved that. I knew I had to steal this hoodie.
"My stuff is in the hallway upstairs.." I said getting embarrassed cause this dude was in my house. "Ight I gotchu just go in the car." He said handing me the keys. I grabbed them and went outside to his car. I got in the passenger seat and watched him bring out the boxes and put them in the trunk.
I let the seat back and closed my eyes, feeling myself fall asleep.
- "Ma, wake up." Mekai said as I slowly woke up. I yawned and looked around seeing I was in his guest room already. "Yo stuff already in the closet." He said before walking out. I nodded and got up looking at my phone.

Once I took a shower and everything I got dressed in some gray shorts and a white t shirt. "Yo food here." Mekai said coming in the room with just some shorts on. "Thank you." I smiled walking downstairs and grabbing the Chick-fil-A bag off the counter. "Oh hey sweetie." His mom smiled coming in the door.
"Hi Mrs.." "Call me Anita." She said hanging her keys up. "Hi Anita." I smiled sitting at the table. "You're staying over again?" She asked. "Actually I don't know when I'm leaving.. my mom kicked me out." I sighed rubbing my arm. "Well you can stay here as long as you need, I don't mind." She said as Mekai came downstairs.
"Hey momma." He said kissing her cheek. "Hey baby." She replied before going upstairs. Once I finished up eating I forced Mekai to put on a face mask with me. @sagebabyy
