"You look good enough to eat mi corazón." Brent announced as I walked out of our bathroom.

"Agreed. Let's skip this meeting and stay here." Reau replied while licking his lips.

Rolling my eyes I looked over to Felix, "You ready?"

"Yeah. All fed up and ready to watch this pissing contest live and up close." he replied.

"Perfect. Let's go." I replied with a grin and headed out of our room.

"That's cold hermosa." Brent called out jogging to catch up.

Reauwyn just chuckled as he followed us all over to the pack house.

"Wren, you are a vision." announced Alpha Marcus as we walked into the conference room.

"Thank you Alpha." I replied before sitting down next to him at the head of the table.

"Gentleman I would like to introduce our special guests. This is Wren Johnson. Also we have her mates: Reauwyn Dumitru, Brent Hernández, and Felix Fischer. They have traveled to us from Romania, and I'm going to hand the floor over to her at this time." Alpha Marcus announced.

Standing I began, "Thank you all for coming here today. I wish that we were meeting under better circumstances. As I am sure you know, we have been fighting a war against the vampires over in Europe for the last several years now. We were making great progress in our efforts; however, they went underground in hiding. Our Intel says that they are planning to move their efforts to the US. Europe was better prepared for this war than the US. Which is how we managed to take down three fourths of their army before they went into hiding."

Before I could continue, an older man with a long beard cut me off.

"With all due respect Miss, I refuse to leave my pack unprotected so that you can play war. You're a pretty thing, but I can't imagine you know much about fighting. Also, I have no interest in working with that bloodsucker." he announced gesturing towards Felix.

I could feel Brent tense next to me, "Sir if you'd just let me finish-"

"If they're really headed this way, then we need to be preparing our own packs. Why should we listen to you when you failed to contain them over there?" threw out another Alpha.

"Agreed!" chorused several others.

"Excuse me, but if we could just-" started Felix.

"No one asked you bloodsucker." someone threw out.

"Gentleman might I suggest a demonstration." commented Reauwyn.

"What did you have in mind?" asked a guy with an Alabama tie.

"How about you fine fellows select one of yourselves to fight against our Wren. If you win, then maybe we were wrong and you don't need our help after all. If that's the case, our guys would all be more than happy to head back home and let y'all handle this yourselves." Reau replied.

"That's ridiculous!" shouted a younger looking guy from the back, "No one here would be willing to be voluntarily challenged for their pack."

Brent barked out a laugh, "I can assure you we don't want anyone's pack. It would only be a fight to determine the winner. Nothing more."

"Fine. I'll accept the challenge." called a small voice from the back.

Everyone looked up to see a young female from the back approaching the front of the room.

"Alpha Felicia of the Silver Moon Pack from Florida. I've beaten at least half of the Alphas in here at the yearly games, so I'm surely as qualified as anyone else." Felicia said by way of introduction.
