Things do take turns

Things do take turns. Unexpected events bring lots of unexpected feelings. I was extremely happy and madly in love. Things were turning out great. Pearl coming back wasn't one of them though. I was glad to be done with her and her bullshit. Rain and I were in here having sex like crazy. Her giggles were turning me on so bad. My sister, her boyfriend and my irresponsible ex-girlfriend were just outside and we didn't care. We just did what our bodies had wanted.

"I love you." Rain said to me. I smiled brightly at her and kissed on her arm. "And I should start going. My dad would be worried."

"You mean he would be surprised you ain't studying and being all alone?" I teased.

"Yeah, that." I hid my laughter and watched her get dressed.

"Don't you want to stay for a while?"

"No, I want to go home, take a bath and sleep. I really need that." She sighed. I stood up and wore my clothes.

"Want me to drive you home?"

"No. I'm okay. I drove here and your ex is still here. I know you guys need to talk." There was this uncertainty in her voice and she didn't look angry however. What was I missing on? I held her hand and pulled her closer to me.

"I don't mind being with you for the rest of the day. I'm done talking with her."

"No. Just talk to her. I will see you on Monday."

"Monday?" She tapped on my cheeks and headed out with me. She opened the door and I stopped her from leaving. "Why Monday?"

"Today is Friday and Monday is school day. I'll see you in school."

"I want to see you tomorrow and on Sunday then on Monday." She shook her head. "Rain,"

"Those are the days I get to be alone. It's like a thing for me. My dad leaves the house for me so I can focus on myself. It has become a habit." She explained and I didn't know what to say to her. Was I supposed to be cool with it and be like yeah that's okay? She went ahead and opened the door and stepped out first. I followed her lead and headed out.

Chase and Pearl were seated together and they were bonding quite well. Ava was seated away from them and she looked pissed as usual. Pearl stood up and walked towards me.

"You're leaving." She said to Rain.

"Yeah." Rain answered and looked at me.

"Oh," Pearl smiled and looked at me. "Too bad. So we're spending the night without her?" She asked and Rain turned to me. "Will you be here on the weekend? We do have plans of..."

"Pearl cut it out." I stopped her from spewing rubbish. "Let's go." I said to Rain and she had her cold eyes on Pearl. "Rain, let's go."

"I'm surprised you're letting your guard down. You don't really know what he's capable of, do you?" Pearl smirked at her. "He uh, how should I say this? You really ain't his type of girl. I have battled with girls who were way too prettier than you. I'm kind of disappointed though. I expected someone better. You're just not it sweetheart and trust me, he is going to cheat on you."
