Luca POV

"Luca! What a pleasant surprise seeing you again. Did you enjoy my gifts? I like to capture the moments." Eddie boasts as he stands from his seat. Eddie was the definition of old money, he practically lived off of what his pops made and has not been able to continue to profit. In fact, he's such a disappointment his sister took over the family business and sends him an allowance because she can't have her trouble making brother fall off.

"Look Eddie, I didn't come here to crack jokes or go down memory lane. I'm actually here to teach you a lesson because it's clear that you have no idea what I'm capable of."

"Is that so? Because I think you have the wrong idea of who I am. See I'm not the scrawny ex boyfriend of the broad you screwed, no no no I'm officially your worst nightmare. I-"

"Can we just get this show on the road? You're kind of boring me and I have a pretty little lady waiting for me at home." I say as I check my watch and he chuckles.

"Ahh yes, sweet Keri-"

"Don't say her fucking name, okay?" I say, getting agitated now and he looks on in shock.

"Sheesh man, I'm sorry. Didn't know that would strike a nerve but now I see that my theory is true about this little situation."

"And what is that?" He smirks, grabbing his beer he had set aside.

"Oh nothing just...that you know...you have feelings for her and the poor girl literally doesn't know jackshit about what she's getting herself into I mean come on man?! Does she know how many people you've had killed over the pettiest things? Does she know about your brief wrestling moment with drugs and alcohol and women? Hell does she know anything about you?" He asks before laughing. "She doesn't does she? Well, do I have a gift for you."

"What the hell are you talking about?"

"I may or may not have sent a sealed folder to her with all the necessary background information on so that you know she gets a fair shot. She gets to know the real you and decide what she wants." He smirks and I couldn't control myself at that moment. Knowing that he possibly exposed some hidden secrets to Keri, jeopardizing what we had going on sent me over the edge. He doesn't even try to fight back, laughing as I punch him, bleeding. "It's pointless you know?! Huh?! I did what I needed to do. Take me home boys!" He shouts, coughing up blood and I toss him to the floor.

"Send him to his sister." I say to one of the guys before heading out.

"I hope you enjoyed it while it lasted Luca! It's over now! It's over now..." I hear him yell as I exit the building. The moment I'm in the suv I roll up the shield for privacy because the way I was feeling right now I didn't know if I was going to break down but I damn sure didn't want anyone to see. I take a few deep breathes, gathering myself before pulling out my phone to call Keri. She picks up on the third ring.

"Luca? Are you okay? What did you end up doing with the guy?" She asks and I take that as a sign that she hadn't opened whatever it was that was sent to her.

"I'm fine. I'm actually on the way home. We just roughed him up a bit and sent him to his sister's for a life fix. Maybe he'll get help and get rid of his alcohol problem."

"Oh okay, good. Hurry up and get back, I'm horny on a full stomach." She says and I let out a chuckle.

"You're a mess woman."

"You like this mess! I'm hanging up now, so hurry up!" With that she ends the call and I sit back, staring out the window as I make my way back across the city. I think about what could possibly be in that folder Eddie was talking about. If there was in fact a folder with my past all wrapped up in a bow I was screwed. That was something that not even a stalker could top. I had so many...demons. To have them rearing their ugly faces back into my present life would just ruin me. I was a train wreck after my mother was killed, and the feds covered it up as if she had committed suicide because of her home life. Turned me into the man I am today. Would Keri be able to see it from that perspective though?
