Melody's POV

Grabbing my wallet and sliding on my shoes, we all head out of my apartment door, and get into the elevator. Taking my phone out of my pocket, I order an uber.

"The uber will be here in two minutes." I say relieved, cause these uber's can have you waiting for at least seventeen minutes.

Getting out of the elevator, we walk out of the apartment complex and to see the uber pulling up in front of us.

Once we get into the car, the driver starts to drive.

32 minutes...

"Thank You" I say as I step out of the vehicle. "Okay, so this is a important thing, we need to dress to impress, let's go." I say seriously.

Walking into the mall, we all decide to split in two pairs. Mateo with me and Vera with Oliver, that should give them time to talk about yesterday.

As for me, I've never really had a chance to meet Mateo one on one so hopefully this doesn't turn out bad.

We both walk into a store named Elegance. Walking in, I can already tell the clothing is expensive, but it wouldn't hurt to take a look.

"I believe we haven't touched base with each other. You know my name but you don't know me." Mateo says bluntly.

"And the same goes for you, you don't know me and yet you know my name." I say calmly.

"Well, how about we change that?" Mateo says, picking up suits from the racket.

"Okay, we'll get to each other, while eating each other's outfits, let's go." I say, as we both go to the changing rooms.

I chose about four different dresses. Picking up the red satin dress, with a draped v neck that isn't to far.

Taking off my current clothes, I carefully put the dress on.

"Ok, three, two, one." I say, as I step put of the dressing room and so does Mateo.

"Well, I'll be damned, we both look good." Mateo says, laughing a bit.

"We do, but it's a bit much, we are going to a gallery for paintings. Let's continue.." I say, walking back into the dressing room.

32 minutes later....

After about an hour, Mateo and I had chosen our outfits and now we're paying for them.

It was fun, getting to know Mateo, we have more in common than I thought we would. Stepping up to the cashier, I give my dress to Mateo, so I can grab my wallet.

"Thank you for your purchase." The cashier says, smiling.

"Wait, what?" I say, confused as Mateo grabs the bags and pulls me out of the store. "What the hell, Mateo?"

"Oh please, relax my parents left hella money in my account, it's hardly nothing. Now you owe me." Mateo says, looking at me.

"Ok, thank you but I'll pay you ba-" I say, before being cut off by Mateo.

"You can tell my friend how you really feel about him seriously, and not make him retort back to his old ways." Mateo says seriously, as we both walk to the jewelry store.
