Five

                                    

                                          
I took a short detour to the convenience store close by to the school, to buy some food for my meals for the next few days. I was minding my business when I feel a tap on my shoulder. 
                          
"What's up?" You ask
                          
"...are you okay?" He asks. You recognise the boy as the kid who broke into your house last night. "Sanzu didn't do anything to you right?" His face was covered in bruises. You assumed that Sanzu had beat him up after finding out be failed.
                          
"I'm okay, don't you worry about me," You say. You lift up his chin to get a better look at his face. You see his ears turn a couple shades redder. "Did Sanzu do this to you?" He averts his gaze away from your eyes. But says nothing. "I see. I'll do something about it so don't worry. What's your name?"
                          
"Takemichi..."
                          
"Alright, Takemitchy it is! I'll see you around then!" 
                          
You were about to leave, when he calles out to you again.
                          
"Can I grab your number before you leave? Just in case something were to happen?" You give him a blank look before replying.
                          
"Sure," he hands you his phone, as you type your number in. Giving him his phone back, you head over to the cashier, pay for your food and leave, waving to him as you head out the door.
                          
Unlocking the front door, you packed away all of your groceries, dressed into clothing more comfortable then plopped onto your bed. You quickly checked your phone. 3:00pm and no new messages.
                          
You feel yourself drift off to sleep.
                          
FLASHBACK
                          
The sounds of crashing ceramic plates and yelling wake you up. You tiptoe to your bedroom door and open it, seeing your mum and dad arguing.
                          
"Why does she have to look like you? You know I can't stand your face!" Your mum yells. She notices you peeking through the door and drags you out. You were only 5. 
"Disgusting." She says, your father watching on as your mum grabs a knife and lifts it to the corners of your mouth and runs it in a quick movement and does the same with the other side. Your father Yells at your mother, "What do you think you're doing to our daughter?! You're going too far!" 
                          
"What do you mean our daughter," she scoffs and walks out the door. I've never seen her again since. 
                          
Your dad carries you in his arms, and takes you to his car. All you taste is the sweet taste of your blood. Euphoric.
Arriving at the hospital, doctors arrested horrified to see you, especially for a young child to be in such a state. The doctor takes you to an operating room. You faintly remember you're dad lying to the doctors about what had happened before passing out.
                          
END OF FLASHBACK
                          
"Y/N! Oi, Y/N!" Someone shakes you awake. "Get up its 7:45pm right now." You jolt awake. No one should be home with you right now. You bumped heads with whoever was waking you up. 
                          
"Owww," You both said.
                          
"Oh sorry. Wait, wtf are you doing in my house Sanzu!?" You yelled. He just glared at you.
                          
"I know where you live remember? I just picked the lock, dummy," He said rolling his eyes. "Hurry up and get dressed, we're gonna be late." He left the room, rubbing his forehead. 
                          
You quickly got dressed, wore your Tenjiku gang uniform, and left the house. You saw Sanzu waiting for you outside, leaning against his motorcycle. Damn how cool you thought.
                          
"Hurry up and get on," He said putting a helmet on you. "Make sure to hold on tight, don't want you falling off." He said, grinning. (Well let's say he was)
                          
You wrapped your arms around his waist, feeling him flinch a little. He turned the engine on and drove off. Your hair was fluttering everywhere, you felt cold, but warm. Your adrenalin rushed through your veins, wishing it would go on forever, but the bike stopped. 
                          
"Y/N, we're here," He whispered as he tapped you on the shoulder. "I'm going to talk to my captain and see whether he'll talk to our leader. So wait here." You nodded as you see him leave. You take off the helmet and place it on his motorcycle as you sit down next to his bike. You had to admit, but his motorbike was cool. It made you want one, but obviously, you didn't have the money for it. 
                          
You were too busy admiring Sanzu's bike to notice footsteps creeping behind you. The figure knocked you out. You slumped onto the floor, feeling your body being carried before blacking out completely.
